Nineteen: Difficulties

The residents of the Andrews were having dinner on a spectacular evening. Mr Andrews and his wife seemed to be enjoying the delectable meal their cook had prepared for them but China felt otherwise.

She stabbed at her food repeatedly with a fork and hardly raised any to her mouth and when she did, it was in a sluggish manner.

Mr Andrews' wife couldn't help but to notice how strange her daughter was acting. "China darling, are you alright? It seems you are having some issues with your dinner, don't you like the food?"

"It is not the food." China replied in a dull manner.

"Are you sure my love? We can have the cook fired and bring in a more better skilled and experienced chef if you would like that?"

"No, it really isn't the food, honestly. I think my taste buds are dead or something." She said as she stabbed at the food again.
