She swallowed hard. She lowered her gaze as she was starting to wonder if she was hearing things or if he had just truly said them to her. But should she really let it phase her? He was in love with another woman anyway.

She heard him sigh and it made her look up at him again.

"I just don't want to lose you so stupidly. Whenever I think of what we have been through together and you and I have been through a lot!" He admitted with a chuckle. "I can't help but to smile because you mean so much to me. Even when you were dying, you looked the most beautiful and I could just sit next to you and gaze at you all day."

She suddenly felt weak in the knees. His words sent a tickling sensation through her body and she almost pulled him into her arms to kiss him. Would she ever though? Would he ever allow it?
