Tara laid on her bed, her conscience eating her up like a ravaging parasite as it has always done ever since she got with Charlie.

Unlike what she had expected, her mother told her to endure the pain so she could enjoy a bright future in comfort and wealth.

She was an only child with only fake friends around her to spend money with her. She could have had one true friend at least
