One twenty seven: Greed

He cleared his throat as his eyes trailed from Vienna to the road and then back at her again. His hold on the steering wheel tightened a bit but he let his grip release.

"My net worth?" He asked, even though he heard the question the first time she asked it.

A thought crossed his mind sluggishly enough for him to access it fully. What if she was feeling uncomfortable from all the talk of huge sums like it was nothing?

Well then, he had to give her enough to make her feel like it was nothing to her too.
