They were all startled as Thomas saw another word below the writing but this one was written in a different form.

"Look," Thomas pointed at the spot the word was written.

"It's Latin," Elise said as she walked towards the wall. She examined the letters closely.

"Can you read it?" Thomas asked.

"When I was little I was forced against my will to learn several languages which was as a result of my father's obsession, he was so obsessed with learning languages that he brought me a private teacher for extra lessons and ever since I have been upset with him even until the day of day of graduation, but here I am, grateful for all the times he had chastised me…"

"Can you please just read the word?" Thomas asked.

"Sure. The word written on the wall means 'Cursed," She answered. "I think that was the reason why you had that nightmare, I think it was because of the house."

"If that is the case we should get out of here as fast as possible," Jake said.
