Thomas and his colleagues began their journey while he directed them to the unknown, which was how Jake termed it although he kept it to himself.

Jake was the only one who knew just how clueless Thomas was as the rest of them.

They took the highway since it would be more safe and even though it wasn't, at least they will be able to elude any incoming threat.

While Thomas was directing Jake on the path to follow, Elise and Ben were getting the weapons ready while Felix kept an eye on the road

"Do you think we can arrive at our destination without encountering one of those monsters?" Ben asked Elise.

"And how am I supposed to know that?" Elise heaves a sigh while stacking up the bombs in a different bag.

Ben got the point, there was truly no way she could have the answer to that, not unless she was a seer. He chuckled.

"What?" Elise said.

"Nothing?" He replied.

"New York is truly a history In this age," Felix said, still staring out through the back window and they all turned to him.
