Chapter one hundred and forty eight: Sudden attack
About five hours later Thomas' ears picked up the sound of someone yelling his name. He opened his eyes gently and still feeling dizzy, he looked forward. It was already dark and through his blurry sight he could see fiery sparks and electric blasts. To him it only seemed like fireworks mixed with noise of people, he thought it was a dream so he sat still until Elise screamed his name a lot louder.

“Thomas!” he heard her call. His eyes opened up and right before him was a giant crab with its two cramps ready to smash him to pieces. Without hesitation he threw himself to the floor as he rolled away. The cramps of the crab smashed against the tree as it divided in two drastically dropping to the floor.

Frightened by the sudden attack Thomas jerked off the floor, staggering backward until his back hit against a tree. While staring at the giant crab he heard the sound of wild fire from his left as he turned to see Felix battling with one of the aliens and just some feet away was Tyler and
