Chapter one hundred and forty six: A smart idea

About half an hour later they arrived on board and they all walked out of the ice boat. Their bodies were ice cold except for Felix who was able to keep his body warm as a fire manipulator.

Thomas took his eyes off the ice boat which melted away into the sea as he turned to Tyler, robbing his palm softly on his arms.

"This was not cool at all," Elise mumbled as she turned to Felix with a frown on her face.

"Why are you staring at me that way?" Felix asked.

"You are so selfish…" She answered grudgingly and staring a little longer she groaned then left forging ahead towards the cliff.

"Elise…" Thomas called but ended up wobbling as a result of the cold.

"That's not advisable. What you need right now is warmth," Sebastian said while walking past Thomas.

It was already dark and through his blurry sight he could see fiery sparks and electric blasts.     The battle had just begun and Thomas was found in the middle of it with the rest of his friends. The sand snakes were not the major threat at the moment, what they were up against was the alien reptiles.The sand snakes fought rapidly. They didn’t care whether it was runners or aliens; all they cared about was defending their territory from anything that ventured in. They were ready to strike even to their detriment. Thomas also fought with all he’s got, he used the opportunity to explore the rest of his abilities and unexpectedly he was able to both manipulate fire like Felix, air like Sebastian and many others. As the battle range on the bodies of the alien reptiles fell but despite how many of them were killed they were still undefeatable because of their number.
