About five hours later Thomas' ears picked up the sound of someone yelling his name. He opened his eyes gently and still feeling dizzy, he looked forward. It was already dark and through his blurry sight he could see fiery sparks and electric blasts. To him it only seemed like fireworks mixed with noise of people, he thought it was a dream so he sat still until Elise screamed his name a lot louder.“Thomas!” he heard her call. His eyes opened up and right before him was a giant crab with its two cramps ready to smash him to pieces. Without hesitation he threw himself to the floor as he rolled away. Thomas didn’t ask any further questions, he only hoped their predictions were right. In about thirty seconds during their silence the winds gradually seized and while their hopes were high Danny alerted them of the chattering sounds he could hear coming from deep in the woods and while they all listened the sound got louder until they spotted Sebastian run out of the bush towards them.On getting to where they were Tyler caught him. Hearing those words Kelvin moved past him as he ordered them to follow his lead. Thomas followed behind the rest of them as they forged ahead. All the way forward his eyes were dizzy and his countenance was worn out. He moved weakly but he was sure not to make anyone realize that. “Stop,” at Kevin’s order they halted. “We are here,” Kelvin said as he turned around to them. “We all know what we are up against. We are about to enter the territory of a very dangerous creature. Do all you can to keep your movement steady, avoid causing any vibration and most importantly no talking,” Kelvin ordered.“Why do we need any of that when we have our powers?” Tyler said.“Just do as I say, we will use our powers only in case of an emergency,” Kelvin answered then moved ahead and they all followed. The battle had just begun and Thomas was found in the middle of it with the rest of his friends. The sand snakes were not the major threat at the moment, what they were up against was the alien reptiles.The sand snakes fought rapidly. They didn’t care whether it was runners or aliens; all they cared about was defending their territory from anything that ventured in. They were ready to strike even to their detriment. Thomas also fought with all he’s got, he used the opportunity to explore the rest of his abilities and unexpectedly he was able to both manipulate fire like Felix, air like Sebastian and many others. As the battle range on the bodies of the alien reptiles fell but despite how many of them were killed they were still undefeatable because of their number.
