"What is the idea?" Danny requested.

"You mentioned earlier that the Light fairies didn't have a shield back then but now they have one, that should mean something but keeping whatever it means aside, you also mentioned that from what you know about your kind, they hate being restricted, which means that they should make an exception,"

"Are you suggesting that only light fairies can make it pass the shield, because if you are I must admit that is a crazy assumption," Elise interrupted Silas.

"It's not crazy Elise, it could be that Danny can pass through the shoulder without being hurt but we can't," Silas said.

As soon as he made his claim Elise was about objecting but Danny stopped them. "I think Silas is right," He said. "I remember that may father told me something similar to this when I was still a child, long before he got into any conflict with our kind,"

"So you are saying that you will be walking past that shield which just chopped a stick in half," Elise asked.

He never stopped repeating the words until he tapped on the shoulder, followed by loud screams of excitement. He opened his eyes to meet the bright smile on Danny's face."We made it, I told you that you will be fine, didn't I?" Danny said. Elvis heaved a sigh of relief then he turned to David and the rest of them which were all s

"Hello Luther," Hagan called the king of the light fairies by name.Silas and his colleagues were surprised at how Hagan knew him by name and even more confused because of the expression on Luther's face. It was like he was afraid of Hagan."What a surprise to have the king of the most formidable dimension present with us. I must admit that he must really care for these young teenagers who strayed far from home that he gathered enough courage to come without guards," Lither said as he gave Hagan more attention."You should know better than that Luther, My subjects are not my power, I am the one who empowers my subject, the city gate keepers are not the ones who protect me rather I am their protector. In my absence my kingdom would have been taken a long time but because I am present the walls of that city stand. I am not like you Luther; You are willing to slay the neck of one of your own all for the purpose of protecting a secret or should I say your cruel act," Hagan said. Those word

Immediately after his comment the light fairies began to murmur. They were all shocked at the report, they felt betrayed.“Luther kept this secret between himself and a few of the elders and when my father discovered the truth they framed him for committing treason. They were going to kill my father and I if not that we escaped. My father sacrificed his life so that I can live until today and even after the king of the runners knew about my presence he kept me a secret,” Danny said.Luther chucked immediately after Danny’s explanation. “What nonsense are you saying?” he said then lifted his gaze to the other light fairies whose eyes were on him. They couldn’t believe it either, at least not until they saw Luther's conspicuous countenance and the fear clustered on his face.“He is going to react,” Hagan muttered as soon as he noticed Luther’s countenance turned dark. Luther was about to manipulate the atmosphere but before he could one of the light fairies who knew about his secret stab

"Have you considered the possibility that you might be wrong? What if they truly believe in the king?" Silas said as Kelvin shook his head in disagreement."Even though they believed him, their alliance was too prompt. The king should have known better," Kelvin answered."And you are right about that. If they had ulterior motives the king is powerful enough to figure them out," Silas said.At his comment Kelvin paused and looked away from the book to him. "There is something you need to understand Silas, the fact that someone Is powerful or old doesn't mean that person is flawless, sometimes they can be blinded by their trust that they forget to consider the little things," He said."Just like what you are doing right now," Silas spoke up when Kelvin was about looking into his book again. "That you have these suspicions doesn't mean that they are true, it could be that the light fairies are genuinely trying to help. I will leave you to do your thing but please don't mess this up," Ke

We can't let that happen, we can't let them turn Thomas into an abomination if not we will never leave this place. Silas said. He immediately recalled the words of Zack, how he said that if Thomas was going to fulfill his destiny as the last runner he would have a role to play in protecting him.Silas took this as one of the various moments to do that."We have to stop them, Silas, we have to," Elise said as she turned towards the window. It was already dark and in a few minutes the moon was going to be up. Noise could already be heard from the entire academy as they were all heading outside the palace province to witness the ritual."What did they say must be engaged for the ritual to take the right course?" The moon was already up by the time Elvis arrived outside the palace. He ran about two meters away from the palace building forging into the crowd of runners who were gathered to witness the ritual. Elvis pushed them aside one after another, as many as obstructed his path. He forced his way through until he made it to the front line. Ahead of him were gathered all the light fairies and the three Sentries and in their midst was a large rock which they laid Thomas.Elvis ran his gaze around and just by the right he spotted them. Hagan and Kelvin were standing side by side and their eyes were fixed towards Thomas."Kelvin," He called as he made his way to where they were. "You have to stop them, you must stop them now before it's too late," "What are you talking about?" Kelvin asked.Elvis turned around to the light fairies whose bodies were already glowing and back again to Kelvin. "The light fairies are not going to wake Thomas, they are going to change him into something else," He s

"What happened?" Thomas asked. He lifted his eyes forward as he looked around at the Runners who were cheering his name then turned back to Silas who had a wide smile on his face."It's a long story pal, but if you are desperate to know, you were just saved from the burns from a dragon flame," Silas answered. At Silla’s comment Thomas got flashback to the day he sent Elvis away to save him from Felix's wrath. So that was the day it happened? he thought to himself."What about Felix, how is he?" He asked."Felix is fine," Someone answered as he turned around to see that it was Kelvin and behind him were the rest of his friends."Welcome back to the land of the living, Thomas," Jerry said. Some minutes later the king dismissed them as he instructed most of the runners to dispose of the bodies of the light fairies.Thomas returned to their apartment. "What about you, I thought you can't be killed so why not help him?" Thomas said."We don't know that for certain and even though I was tired of living, do you think it will be a great idea to leave the apocalypse up to you?" Thomas knew he had a point there. They can't afford to lose him because the kingdom currently has many people who are aspiring to rule this dimension. A clear example is Anastasia not to speak of many more who were camouflaged, pretending to be obedient all because of the king's immortality."So what you are saying is that the dragon flame might be able to kill you," Silas said to Hagan."It's not a certainty; rather we can call it a probability. The dragon flame was in existence before the curse was placed on me so it might have a terrible effect however based on the curse I wasn't going to die by a dragon flame. The witch spoke about the dragon flame so if it was going to kill me then she would not have limited my departure at the end of Thomas's race," He exp
