"Thomas," he heard someone call as he turned to see Ashley standing in a large field with a beautiful smile spread across her face.
"Ashley," He muttered then took three steps towards her but stopped as he noticed her countenance change and tears began rolling down her cheeks.
"I shouldn't have followed you Thomas, if not none of this would have happened, I am sorry. You must save us," she sniffed.
"What do you mean Ashley?" Thomas furrows his eyebrows and Ashley turns around to a large storm approaching them swiftly.
"They are the ones," she points towards the storm as Thomas could see lightning strikes inside the storm and strange alien creatures.
"Ashley!" he ran towards her to carry her away but before he could get there his eyes fluttered open.
"Wake up, you must save us before it's too late!" Those words resounded In his ears as he realized it was a dream.
'Where am I? I can't see anything,' Thomas whispered to himself as he tried to get up only to realize that his hands and feet’s were chained to the bed he was lying on.
He struggled to set himself free but it was impossible since the room was dark.
"Help! Somebody help me, Please…" He screamed as he could feel sweat rolling down his forehead. "Help… Please…" his voice failed him and while struggling the room lit up.
He could hear his loud breath as he looked around the large white room then turned right to a table beside his bed as he could see some strange tools.
There, no doubt, he could tell that their intention was to use him for an experiment. He looked further from the table at the line of computers which run horizontally with scientific readings displaying on the monitor.
"What the heck," Thomas soliloquized and his eyes spring wide open at sight of innumerable large tubes containing human bodies inside which was ahead of the computers.
Still staring at the tubes in fright he heard the door open as he glanced downwards at the two men who walked In with a man dressed in a doctor's attire.
The other men stopped by the door and the doctor approached Thomas on the bed and without uttering a word Thomas watched him take up an injection as he began to fill it with a liquid.
"What are you doing?" Thomas asked but the man didn't give him a response as he dropped the emptied container on the floor, slightly knocking the injection with the tip of his index finger.
Thomas eyeballs hovered at every single move the man made and after a while the man moved close to him.
"Don't you dare put that on me!" Thomas scolded him when he brought the injection close to his arm as the two men standing by the door were about to intervene but the doctor stopped them with a signal then turned back to Thomas.
"You are a fine one, and if I were you I would save my energy for the transition. Just hope you don't die in the process,"
"No… keep that thing away from me," Thomas whispered as the man emptied the injection into his body then moved away from the bed.
"What did you put in me?" Thomas stared at the man whose mind was far from his question.
"At the count of three," said the man in a whisper as Thomas could see his impatient eyes. "One… two… three…"
Immediately after the third count, Thomas felt liquid movement inside his body as they were splitting into many numbers and after a while he felt his blood streams starching up.
He screamed out in pain while shaking on the bed. His throat felt sore and his saliva dried up, it was like a volcano in his inside and hurricane in his belly. He could feel his eyes tearing wide mingled with electric sparks in his head. No! The feeling was unbearable and unexplainable while his tongue rolled up and down his closed mouth and the only sound produced was deep groaning. The pain lasted for minutes and he finally blanked out.
"Bang!" His eyes fluttered open as the first thing he saw was the pale brown eyes of the scientist staring at him through a glass, and it was after another punch on the glass that he realized he was inside one of the large tubes he had seen earlier.
"What are you doing? let me out!" Thomas said as the doctor moved away from the tube then turned right to one of the people who was with him earlier but this time he was beside a tap on the wall. "Please don't do this," Thomas turned to the doctor immediately he saw a host connected from the tap to the tube he was put inside.
"Do it," the doctor said and the man turned on the water.
"Please you can't do this, you will get me killed, please…" Thomas kept moving his hand on the glass in hope that the man would change his mind but he didn't.
The doctor watched with his hands folded until Thomas was completely covered with the water. He tried to swim up but there wasn't enough space since the tube was a tin, and while gasping for breath they poured in a green chemical into the tube.
He pressed his lips close as he began to bang the tube but after a long time his arm waxed feeble and it dropped back to his side. His eyes moved drowsy while staring at the doctor's pale eyes.
"Project one hundred and fifty didn't survive the experiment, Project one hundred and fifty is eliminated,"
That was the last words he heard immediately after he closed his eyes and the lights went off.
"Beep… Beep….Beep," Thomas heard a sound as he opened his eyes then traced the sound to a red light which was constantly beeping opposite him.
"Project one hundred and fifty survived, Project one hundred and fifty is the first successful participant,"
Thomas noticed a blue glow in the water as he looked at his right hand only to see electric sparks running through his fingers and after a short stare he struck the tube hardly as it shattered to pieces and the water flowed out
He fell on the floor panting for about a minute, then he stood up as he looked at a hanger towards his right to see his pants and t-shirt. He walked towards the hanger as he wore his clothes then hurried out of the room.
He looked left and right at the long white passageway, then took his right, walking as fast as he could while his eyes moved around to avoid being spotted by a CCTV.
He took another right turn as he could see doors to many rooms on both the right and left side. but what does it matter his only concern was getting out without being caught.
While walking he spotted a door open about five meters away from him and a doctor walked out with his eyes on the record book he was holding and in a blink the doctor lifted his gaze up and spotted Thomas but just before he could make an alarm Thomas zoomed to his side as he zapped his neck.
The doctor's body dropped to the floor as Thomas widened his eyes in shock then drifted his gaze to his hands. "What have they done to me?" He soliloquized as he swallowed hard. He glanced down then dragged the doctor back into the room and a few minutes later he walked out wearing the doctor's medical attire then continued his search for an exit.
After a few turns he arrived at an end of trail then looked forward at a ladder placed on the wall which led upwards and that was when he realized he was in an underground. This was their secret territory all along.
Thomas took hold of the ladder as he climbed upwards and when he came out,.he joined a lane of doctors as he followed them upstairs into a small room.
Thomas furrowed his face when he noticed an irritating smell as he turned to his right and saw seven dead bodies laid vertically on beds.
"Okay! We all know what is expected of us, we have to ensure that the bodies are disposed of," One of the doctors said then turned to Thomas and another doctor who was beside him. "The two of you should get the first body disposed,"
"Yes sir," the doctor beside Thomas responded as they both walked down to one of the dead men. Thomas was filled with disgust while they carried the dead body out but all he could do was hold his breath with his lips pressed closed since the doctor who had given them the command was staring at him.
They both carried the man out though the door directly opposite the one they came into then walked down an iron stairs which moved all the wade downwards to the backyard field outside the building.
This is my chance. How do I escape? Thomas thought to himself while they both walked down to a hole twenty five meters away from the building.
It was already dark and the moonlight wasn't visible since it was covered by the moist cloud, the only light they had were twelve lamps hanging on staffs which ran vertically in twos towards the hole. It was a perfect setting and all he needed to do was sneak out and head far away from the lamps. They dropped the dead body inside the large hole then headed back for the iron stairs but willing to escape, Thomas slacked behind and while others were coming down to dispose the bodies, he sneaked under the iron stairs as he ran off towards the right end of the building. He stopped when he took the turn, then looked forward at the rays of lights hovering on the field and upward to five watchtowers. 'I don't think that this should be difficult. You can do this Thomas. All you need to do is avoid the lights,' He encouraged himself as he forged ahead to the front of the building in which were many watch towers and he didn't care to count. He continued running fast as he could but carefully
When he approached them he pressed his way through the people as he spotted the boy dancing in their midst while the others cheered on.'This is strange,' Thomas thought to himself as he ran his gaze at the people and back again to the pale skin young man with blue coloured hair who was about the same age as him.Still witnessing the scene he was mistakenly pushed into the centre from behind as he turned around, but with the people cheering, he wasn't sure who it was that pushed him."Who are you and what are you doing in my ring?" The young man said as Thomas turned to him."I'm sorry, but I think I should just leave," Thomas walked towards the crowd but they would not let him leave."You are going nowhere. Anyone that interrupts my show must have a duel with me," The young man said.Thomas turned again to him. "Look, I don't have time for this. and I won't do any duel with you, Okay..?" He replied as the young man ran quickly towards him, then gave in a striking punch to the belly.
"Impossible," Mike muttered with a highly esteemed gaze at Thomas. He had a carefree personality and could easily get triggered whenever he saw something new. "You should return to your seat now. but don't fail to see me in the next room immediately after class," Kelvin said and Thomas nodded slightly as he walked down to his seat. in the Dimension department. Elise was seated on her desk which she shared with her seatmate, Ana. The desk was one out of fifteen and there were a total of Thirty in the class. Their teacher was exceptional in her field and the entire class found her as an expert, except for Elise who thinks she was better. "Elise," Ana called as Elise turned right to meet her inconspicuous gaze. "Who was the young man I saw you with earlier at the field?" she whispered. "Do you mean Thomas?" Elise asked. "How should I know his name? Of course that could be his name, but you didn't tell me your new friend was from the electric department," Ana said. "Of course, he co
"Come with me Elvis," Thomas said as they left for the entrance into the building while the others began to separate themselves on twos to different spots on the field.Thomas and Elvis walked into the building as they headed for the staircase. They made their way up and when they arrived at the electricity department class they realized that the hall was empty."Where are your friends?" Elvis asked and Thomas frowned at him."Don't act like you have no clue," Thomas said as he took out his phone then texted Elise and immediately after that they were interrupted by the sound of the door opposite them and Thomas looked only to see Jerry walk out of Kelvin's office.Thomas would have called his name but when he had a flash of their clash earlier i restrained himself as all they did was stare at each other."What is the problem?" Elvis said but Thomas ignored him.Jerry drifted his gaze to Elvis. "Who is this and why is he here Thomas? i thought Kelvin said that no one Else was supposed
While digging David turned to Elvis. "Go and tell Kevin that we have sight on the waterfall,""Sure," Elvis stood up as he hurried back to the room and delivered the message to Kelvin. Kelvin followed him back into the tunnel and before they got there Thomas and the others had already finished opening the tunnel.A wide smile spread across Kelvin's face as he turned to see all of them lying weakly on the floor. "You have all made me proud," he said as he embraced each one of them and helped them up. "Let's prepare our things, we leave tonight,"They all cleaned up themselves, changed into a different outfit and carried along everything that was necessary."What is that?" Thomas asked when he noticed Kelvin pick up a small remote containing just one red button on the table."You will know what it is after we leave," Kelvin answered then turned to the others. "You all should come with me," He said and they all moved into the tunnel. When they arrived at the waterfall Kelvin moved ahead o
"Thomas… Thomas…" Jerry scolds in a whisper backed up with the chattering sound of the chains used in chaining up his hands to two pillars. "Thomas!" Jerry called again and Thomas opened his eyes and dazzled by the rays of sunlight coming inside through the large side windows he turned left to meet Jerry's perplexed countenance."Where are we?" Thomas muttered as he drifted his gaze upwards to see that he was chained to a pillar just as Jerry was, and on his right side was Silas also chained in the same manner."I think we are doomed," Silas said and Thomas looked forward only to realize that they were chained before a large multitude of people. The people he could see were over thousands and they were celebrating with ancient instruments. Their dress code was animal skin and they spoke a different kind of language unlike normal humans do."We are doomed for sure," Thomas muttered then flinched as he turned to Jerry. "What do we do?" "I have an idea," Silas interrupted as his eyes kep
"Thomas, come over here," Kelvin said to Thomas who was having a conversation with Elise while they were moving as he walked down to him."Is there a problem?" Thomas asked."No. I promised to tell you how I was able to do all I did earlier right? but it's okay if you don't care about it anymore," "What? Why not," Thomas chuckled while he stared at Kelvin expectantly. "Please tell me," "Okay, remind me of the first part that got you curious?" he asked and Thomas rolled his eyes to the down right corner."Hmm.., Yep!" He sprained his gaze back to him again. "I would like to know how you figured out the plan. How did you know I was making an escape plan?" "That's right. First thing you must note is that anyone with an electronic power has the ability to access anything that is electronic from example you cell phone. I saw the message you were sending to your friend Elise without Having to ask you because I had access to your cell phone," He answered as Thomas widened his eyes in surpr
The tiger diverted its gaze to Bolt and Thomas couldn't imagine the paws of the large cat fisted into the skin of his dog. He knew he had to act.The large cat crouched and with a blood curdling scream it mounted with claws outspread and long yellow fangs bared.Bolt didn't hesitate, rearing up on his hind legs he met the lion in the air and the heavy weight of the large cat bowled him over and over and the collision of the two bodies threw the tiger off balance. However In the sparks of their impact there was a visible electric spark which blistered despite being under the morning sun.Thomas watched the tiger howl in pain then turned to his dog who was up again. Legs pinned to the floor and teeth gritted while rumbling threat to the face of his adversary."Oh my goodness, look," Elise said, pointing toward Bolt's teeth as Thomas started to see electrical current flowing around not just his teeth but his body."I think we should leave this place at once," Mike said when the tiger and
