Chapter 2

After he left the cafeteria, he was at a loss,he couldn't stop thinking about his girlfriend or ex girlfriend.

He was supposed to go to the bar where he works and decided to walk since it's not that late yet,and taking the cab is already out of the plan.

He walked over thirty minutes and knew he should be at the bar in less than twenty minutes more and he might even be late so he wanted to take a shortcut.

He was walking close to an alleyway in the first place so there were many shortcuts around the place. He was still thinking about which one to take when his mouth was covered and he was dragged into the alleyway.

He struggled fiercely as he was being taken but he couldn't struggle free .

He was dragged deep into the alleyway and roughly pushed to the ground.

He was immediately surrounded by more than ten men,his heart skipped a beat and he chuckled sadly,he should have known Jasper won't wait another night after he beat him up like that.

"I told you I will get you"jasper came out of the dark with his bruises already treated .

But he was more shocked to see his girlfriend with him. Oh,they broke up already.

"Beat him up but don't kill him" Jasper said coldly,his eyes speaking volumes on how much he really wanted to kill Lyon instead.

He left the alleyway with Benita but didn't forget to kiss her to spite Lyon,while Benita also kissed him back seductively.

As soon as they left,the ten or more men surrounded him immediately and he received the beating of his life.

They were not just using their fists to deal with him but also hitting with the weapons they were holding,he couldn't struggle or break free when he was pinned against the ground and was getting beaten.

"Ahhhhh" he couldn't stop himself from screaming out in severe pain when he felt a hard object against his head and he suddenly felt dizzy.

"Don't kill him dude,the boss just wants to teach him a lesson for now" one of the men said coldly.

"Look, he's bleeding already " said another one "where did he get the gut to hit the boss,beat him up even more,as long as he didn't die " said another one.

He was hit all over his body and when they finally left him,he was lying in the pool of his own blood, bleeding from the head.

He could hardly keep his eyes opened ,the only thing he could think of was his phone and who to call.

It was at this moment his phone rang and with all difficulty and pains in his body,he managed to pick up the call.

"Where did you keep my gaming pads?" His friend's voice came through "Jason.." he called weakly.

"What happened to your voice? You sound so weak " Jason asked and the only thing he managed to reply was where he was and then he passed out.

He only woke up some hours later and he thanked Jason while the latter asked him how he ended up in the alleyway.

"I fought with Jasper and he decided to take his revenge" he replied and chuckled sadly.

"That son of a bitch,is he trying to commit murder while hiding behind bullying,this is outrageous" Jason said angrily.

"I tried my best and paid for the treatment, it's quite expensive because your injuries are too severe" Jason said .

"Thank you,I will try to pay back when I'm ok" Lyon said and Jason simply laughed it off not paying attention to his words.

Suddenly a nurse came rushing into the ward "Dr, someone's here asking for this patient " the nurse said.

"Who?" He asked, finally releasing Lyon,the doctor looked at Jason then left with the nurse to see who it was.

He met an elderly man who's probably in his mid fifties"how may I help you sir?" The doctor asked but he quickly realized who this man was.

"Sir Avi" he was shocked, this man is the butler of the Norman's family,the richest family in the whole country and probably in other countries where they have a lot of business branches.

"Yes Dr, what's the name of the patient please?" He asked, looking all dignified.

"Lyon Jones " replied the doctor and the man nodded repeatedly suddenly showing a look of joy on his face.

"How is he? Is his condition ok? What kind of injury was it?" He asked and the doctor frowned a little.

"Mr Avi,the patient's family aren't here so we can really disclose his medical record without a reason "he said.

"Just tell me, I'm a relative of his" Mr Avi frowned, obviously displeased.

"He suffers from mild traumatic brain injury,the results shows it was through constant hit in the head and before he was brought here,he had suffered a severe head injury with his head still bandaged but the last assault to the head refreshed the unhealed wound causing more damage to his brain" said the doctor.

Mr Avi quickly rushed into the ward he saw the Dr came out of and met Jason trying to get Lyon to talk.

"Young master " he called in shock,while everyone in the ward stared at him in shock instead.
