Ferdinand's Relatives (Eight)

Blake approached Cynthia, and greeted,"hey."

Cynthia blushed and shyly avoided his eyes as he greeted her back.

"Hey, Blake How did you sleep?" asked Blake, trying to start a conversation.

"I slept okay, thanks. And you?" responded Blake politely.

"I slept well too," she responded.

Since Blake would be living as a guest at Cynthia's home, he decided to be helpful. "Do you need any help?" he inquired.

"Oh, I'm just finishing up here, but if you'd like, you could join me at the pig farm," Cynthia suggested.

"Sure,"Blake smiled.

As they entered, they were greeted by the playful oinks and snorts of the pigs.

The farm was muddy, and the pigs were happily rolling around in the slop.

This was a life Blake hadn't experienced all his life, so he decided to enjoy it.

He noticed a cute piglet and tried to pet it, but it playfully sprayed him with mud. Blake pushed the piglet away to make it stop, and the piglet felt offended by this and ran up to its mother, squealing.
