Bang !! bang !! bang !! the figure of Tiana flashed constantly in the training ground as she punched out In different postures.

Under the cover of the dark sky , Tiana trained tirelessly without stopping for a single moment.

Her fists were surrounded by domineering force as she punched out consecutively with all her strength , seemingly transferring all her turbulent emotions into that punch.

Her figure flashed around the environment constantly , bombarding the wooden figures there before constantly retreating in between them.

The light In the training ground was dim with only two wooden torches serving as the source of light there.

The hair of Tiana scattered across her shoulder as she gasped for breath.

She slowed her constant movement as she wiped off the sweat from here face.

Her cloth was soaked with sweat and her developing figure was made more prominent by her wet cloth.

"To master this Fist technique to the seventh level is very hard ". Tiana sighed as she slowly massaged her aching hand with spiritual energy.

Unknown to her , the figure of Hazel was standing in the void quietly , watching her practice.

Whoosh!! the figure of Hazel vanish from the void as she immediately appeared behind Tiana quietly.

"The fist technique you practice is self harming ". Hazel said casually as she slowly approached the figure of Tiana.

"If I could remember correctly , the town hall is not open to visitors unless you are allowed to enter ". Tiana turned around slowly and said.

In front of her , a stunning woman dressed in a long flowing black gown was looking at her with a mysterious smile on her face.

"Rules are only meant for the weak ". Hazel said slowly as her figure strangely appeared in front of Tiana and she slowly lifted her chin with a playful look on her face.

"You ....!!!". Tiana discovered that she could not move a single muscle from her position as the entire space seem to be completely solidified.

"Why make rules when you are still weak ". Hazel chuckled softly before withdrawing her hands and Tiana regained her mobility.

Tiana immediately took several steps back with apparent fear in her eyes.

"You are transpassing ". Tiana whispered softly without any authoritative tone.

"Yes , I know ". Hazel folded her arms across her chest with a mocking smile on face.

"But what can you do to me ?". She asked.

Tiana stared at Hazel for some minutes before she shrugged her shoulders in defeat.

"What's brings you here and also , you can introduce yourself if you don't mind ". Tiana said calmly as she adjusted her training robe before flicking her hair to the side.

"My name is Hazel and my purpose of coming here is because of you ". Hazel answered slowly as she stroked the surface of a wooden dummy in the training ground.

"Me ?". Tiana had a confused look on her face as she asked.

"Yes , you ". Hazel nodded slightly before she flicked her finger and the wooden dummy in front of her shattered to pieces.

"Before that , the fist technique you practice is reducing your lifespan ". Hazel looked at Tiana and said.

"Yes , I know ". Tiana nodded slightly in agreement.

"And you still practice it ?". Hazel raised her eyebrows slightly in confusion.

"The seven fist injury technique is the only fist technique in the entire town and the town chief is required to practice it ". Tiana answered.

"Looking at your current lifespan , you will barely live to three hundred years ". Hazel said slowly.

"The subsequent town chiefs did not live long either despite being in the void realm ". Tiana shrugged her shoulders and said.

"What if you decide not to practice the fist technique ?". Hazel asked.

"You will be stripped of your town chief rank and your cultivation will be abolished ". Tiana answered.

Tiana remained silent while looking at Hazel quietly.

After a slight hesitation , she slowly shook her head and said.

"Can we really fight those beings ?". A downcast expression appeared on her face.

"In your eyes , I see doubt and fear of the unknown ". Hazel walked towards the figure of Tiana slowly.

"You don't believe that we can really win against the Myraid races ". The voice of Hazel echoed across the entire environment.

"You don't understand ". The eyes of Tiana was filled with immense sorrow as she looked at the sky.

"For countless generations till date , the myraid clans have always reigned supreme with their authority never challenged. The human race has always been the race in the bottom of the food chain ". The desolate voice of Tiana seem to carry tiredness in them.

"You have already lost hope before the battle " Hazel looked at Tiana and said slowly.

"Can the Firefly compare to the brightness of the sun ?". Tiana.

"One Firefly can not compare but how about thousands of Firefly ?". Hazel asked.

"Are you contented with this kind of life ?". Hazel asked Tiana in a questioning tone and the expression of Tiana changed slightly.

"Is it not better to die than to be reared like a livestock ? ". Hazel held the hand of Tiana and looked at her directly in the face.

"Do you want to keep seeing your loved ones selected and slaughtered ?. Do you want to part with your little sister one day if she is selected ". The words of Hazel struck like a thunder into the heart of Tiana and her body shook Intensely.

"Is this the kind of life you want to be living ? . To be living in fear , to be living with no ambition and patiently for the day to die !". Hazel stared at Tiana directly in the life and asked.

"But the strength of the enemy ...". Tiana stated in a helpless tone.

"Don't let the strength of the enemy weigh you down. To you , challenging the myraid clans will lead to a dead end but you need to fight back first. Fight against your fate !!". Hazel roared out thunderously.

"The Lord use to say that man is born with the ability to determine his own fate !". Hazel continued solemnly.

"The Heavens , the Earth and the sky can't determine your fate if you choose to fight against them !".

Tiana was struggling inwardly as she listened to the words of Hazel.

Part of her wanted to agree but the other part was telling her that this was a futile quest.

"So what if this fight will lead to death atleast , you fought with all your strength and made the myraid clans bleed. You can't sit back and lose hope without fighting back !!". Hazel continued.

"When your little sister was about to be taken away by them , you resolutely decided to step out and challenge their authority . Where is that valour and fearless courage you had back then or do you want your little sister to be taken away again ?". Hazel asked.

"No !". Tiana shouted with red eyes.

She could not imagine her little sister being taken away from her.

Since her parents died , her sister was the only family she had in the world.

"Tiana , in your eyes , I see endless ambition and unwillingness to be medicore. Join us and we can give you the strength to fight against the Myraid races ". Hazel said breathlessly.

"Do you really have the strength to fight against them ?". Tiana asked with hesitation.

"You need to join us and then find out yourself ". Hazel answered mysteriously.

"Where are you people really from ?". Tiana asked curiously because the strength of these people were really mysterious.

Humans were not supposed to possess such kind of strength.

"We come from a place very far away ". Hazel answered.

"Still giving a vague answer ". Tiana pouted her mouth and said.

"As for your offer, I will think about it and give you a reply in a few days ". She added.

"Remember cowards die many times before their death but the valiant ones taste death but once !". . Hazel took a deep breath and said seriously.

"Take up your fate in your own hands , death is not really scary but sitting and waiting for death is". Hazel took a step forward and vanished from the training ground.

Tiana clenched her fists tightly as numerous memories surged through her mind.

The suffering, the pain and the misery the town has been passing through for countless generations.

She remembered how tragically her parents died and tears rolled down her cheeks.

The arrogant words and actions of the heavenly wolf powerhouses as they drove her parents into the den of a terrifying creature.

She remembered how helpless she felt when her little sister was about to be taken away by the heavenly wolf powerhouse.

At this point , her thirst for strength overcame her fear and doubt.

She had never desired strength like she desired it now.

The strength to determine her own fate , the strength to set her own rules.

The strength to decide her own destiny !!.

"It's better to die than to live like this !!". A determined expression appeared on the face of Tiana as she looked at the dark sky quietly.

A new era was about to begin !.
