Earlier....Jeremy walked out of the martial arts club after finishing the training session for the day. Nothing much happened today except for their new sensei,Ambrose sensei who asked about the students mutants abilities and got to know them more.No one knew the reason why Sensei Jiro missed training today,but everyone assumed he just chose to go for a quick vacation.Exiting the hall,Jeremy headed straight to the cafeteria to have dinner and see if Ajax was back. Inside the dimly lit dorm,Ajax and Jeremy stood opposite eachother as Jeremy informed Ajax about the situation at hand.While Jeremy was busy explaining,Ajax enhanced nose caught a peculiar smell."Smoke?" Ajax uttered,sniffing the air while moving closer to the window to take a peek outside."He is here." Jeremy voiced as he watched a round ball of fire heading towards a certain area of the academy.BOOM!The fire made contact with gas and ended up exploding."I thought you said he was alone?" Ajax stood in the dimly lit compound patiently as he awaited Alistir's coming. After waiting for few minutes,he began to hear footsteps heading towards him from behind. Ajax swiftly turned around and saw a reasonably huge guy dressed in red robe and his long hair being blown by the cool night breeze walking towards him."Aja Hart,i presume?" Alistir voiced calmy while moving forward slowly. His eyes glowed in a firey color in the night and flames could be seen escaping his mouth with every words he spoke."We can simply just end this here right now." Alistir spoke further. "All i need from you is the power that resides inside of you."Ajax who has been in silence decided to speak up. "Trust me,if i knew how to extract this stuff i would have done it a long time ago." The thoughts of getting rid of the system crossed Ajax's mind in the past,especially when he ran wild and almost killed his friend. Right before Alistir's eyes,the once weak and feeble-looking Ajax was now turning into something he has never set his eyes on.Ajax's spiky brown hair were now messy,his eyes were pitch black and black veins could be seen below his eyes and around his face. The veins also stretched across his shirtless body like a drawing pattern,and black claws could be seen growing out of his finger.With Ajax holding unto Alistir's fire blade,Alistir could sense the insane increase in strength from the other.'What the hell happened to him?! Also...what's with this sudden strength?!' Somewhere in the academy,a reasonably huge man dressed in red attire could be seen walking towards a teenage boy who sat down on the floor with blood flowing out here and there."I can't believe you chose to betray us,Knight." Griffin spoke while walking towards Jeremy who laid helplessly on the floor and bruised up badly."Why don't you pick someone in your own size?" A voice sounded from behind. Shifting their gazes,all they saw was a man dressed in deep blue uniform and his eyes shone brightly in the darkness. A huge shiny axe strapped behind him."Ambrose Sensei?" Jeremy blurted with a hopeful expression.At first,Jeremy felt joyful after catching a glimpse of the man that just showed up. After exiting the portal section with the only surviving guard behind him,Ambrose headed straight to the academy's clinic to treat him and get some information on what happened back there. The thoughts of Sir Sage dying still sounded unreal to him.Sir Sage was a very powerful man. It would take a lot of effort for him to go down. Who then was able to defeat him? After racking his brain for sometime,Ambrose concluded that the only way to know what happens is if the guard wakes up.After handing the guard over to the doctor for treatment ,Ambrose left the clinic and was heading to Sir Damien's office,that's when he heard some noises coming from a dark area that was located in an isolated place.Ambrose moved closer to see just what was going on,only to see a fire user dealing with a student who looks beaten and at the verge of death."Tell me why that Monarch of fire chose to attack you personally." Struggling back to his feet with most of his bones fractured,Jeremy headed straight to the area he last saw his bestfriend,Ajax. The chaos outside already calmed down a bit but the students were still in shock and fear.They had watched their fellow students and friends being burnt to arshes and killed like they were nothing at all. Some of the students already managed to send a notification to the academy's higher ups and in no time,lots of teachers appeared to clean up the mess.Jeremy limped in pain as blood gushed out of his injured leg while walking towards the compund he left Ajax to face Alistir. Jeremy still wasn't sure if Ajax survived and he felt restless until he knew his friend was okay.After few minutes of walking,Jeremy finally arrived in the dimly lit environment.
