Jeremy held Vivian’s hand tightly as they stepped out of the cafeteria, both of them visibly shaken by Ethan's words. As soon as they got to their car, vivan turned to Jeremy as she slowly let go of his arms

“Do you think he’ll really follow through?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Jeremy’s jaw tightened as he glanced around, his eyes scanned the empty hallway. “I don’t know,” he said grimly, “But he’s not the type to walk away quietly.”

Vivian let out a soft sigh, her shoulders slumping slightly. “I thought it was finally over.”

Jeremy stopped for a moment, facing her. His expression was hard, but his eyes softened as he spoke. “I will do anything to make sure he doesn't succeed. For now, stay away from any friend or acquitances, people in general also…”
