All eyes darted towards the homeless looking man who looked at them with eyes full of disdain while he took long strides towards them stilled.

At first, the robbers were shocked that someone like him could dare to interfere in their business. No one dared to interrupt and they must also wait until they were done with their business before everyone could leave.

Then, it turned to a sneer.

The young lady feared that this homeless man could make things go worse as she signalled for him to leave in a panic so she could take care of them. However, he pretended as if he did not hear that as he tucked his hand in his ripped out jeans.

“Let this woman go,” Reed said calmly, as if none of what was going on mattered to him.

However, the leader got infuriated as he pointed his gun at him with a loud glare that threatened to scare off the next vehicle and the next who had seen what was going on in fear.

“Who the hell do you think you are, huh?” He asked. Just as he was about to pull the trigger while Reed watched the man calmly without saying anything, Joanna thought of how things would get messed up as she hurriedly closed her eyes silently hoping that her uncle would be fine as she said loudly,

“Fine, get intimate with me but please let that man go”

Tears streamed her cheeks when the words popped out as her heart raced painly.

Only then did Reed shake his head as he jabbed his fingers collectively, controlling the robber's joint and locked his muscles without moving an inch. The atmosphere suddenly became a bit windy.

A loud scream erupted from his lips as the gun he held suddenly became too heavy for him to hold. At once, Joanna's eyes widened while the man fell on his knees.

“What's going on?” She muttered while Reed said nothing as he turned around. However, just as he was about to take a step, leaving everyone in shock at what he had done, the other five robbers pulled the trigger almost immediately.

Boom, without turning around, he held each bullet with a snap of his fingers until there were no more bullets left in their guns.

Their eyes almost popped out of their sockets leaving them in awe of what happened.

“What magnitude of man is this?” They all stood, shocked. For three years, they had made sure to dominate the entire city, making the major road their target because it was considered a private road for the wealthy, leaving people in distress.

Does this mean that it has finally come to an end? The people in the cars thought.

At once, Reed released the bullets, making sure it hit each of those who pulled the trigger.

Immediately, their bodies became filled with blood the moment it pierced their bones, leaving them in a world of groans.

Never would they be able to use such bodies to play dirty games with the people nor will they be able to lift guns with their fingers.

“Now, you can't even get intimate with the young lady” He muttered which shocked Joanna to her bones as she stood, dazed.

She could not believe that this was someone she had tried to save earlier whereas he just saved her.

A Scion she looked down on! No one had ever gone out of their way to save her. She'd thought this would be the end of her- losing her dignity in the presence of the people that respected her prestigious family!

“Thank you for saving me. I'm glad… I can't wait anymore. I would have given you something in return but I have to leave now.” She said and turned around to leave, hoping that her uncle would be fine since she had gotten out of the mess they found themselves when he continued,

“Even if you leave now, that man in the car will die because it will be too late”

At once, Joanna stopped right in her tracks, overwhelmed in extreme shock.

How did he know that there was someone in the car? Only her and the bodyguard knew because the glass windows were tinted.

Was he sort of a god? She thought, her mind racing.

Oh! It must have probably been that he found out while she was being threatened to be raped earlier. He must have popped into the window since it was slightly opened - the same way her uncle would have loved it.

“Listen, I appreciate you saving me but there's a limit to what you can do. Right now, the world renowned best doctors have all flown in and are all waiting for us.

If you're doing this just because you want to see more of me, I understand. Now is not the time for that. After all, a lot of people are dying to see me in real life”

“Very arrogant woman.” Reed thought and was about to leave when he heard the middle aged man's cry of plea to be saved all because he was in extreme pain from the middle part of his body downwards.

He stopped right in his tracks and turned towards the car coldly.

He wasn't sure if the man was worth it because clearly, his arrogant niece was not even worth saving.

Then, he turned towards the car and was about to have it opened when she yelled out. “What do you think you are doing, Huh? My uncle respects his privacy so much!”

Oh! A bunch of arrogant idiots! He thought about wanting to let go but he remembered that the old hag never taught him to be that arrogant.

“Well, you have to choose between your uncle's privacy and let me save him because he has just five minutes to be saved or you go into that car, drive off while you think of having him buried because he clearly won't make it!” Reed said again, this time firmly. Immediately, the woman bit her lips, wanting to get him punished.

No one had ever talked to her that rudely. However, she was still willing to let him go because of her uncle.

“I don't care who you think you are but you are not a doctor!” She yelled back at him in frustration.

Who the hell did he think he was? Just because he had saved her earlier made him seem like someone sort of a god?

He'd saved her but he was just a useless man that didn't belong to her class and was not fit to speak to her informally.

Such a silly prick! She thought with a lip-filled scorn.

The moment she got into the car and was about to have the door closed while Reed watched, he stretched his fingers coldly and began to count, “At the count of 3, 2, 1!”

Boom, the man muttered, “I don't think I will make it. Make sure you do good”

Immediately, he shut his eyes tightly entering a state of cardiac arrest.

That moment, Xavier walked in with his head lowered and sat across from him. With his hands folded, he looked at Reed Twist whose expression he could not decipher. “How does it feel to leave the prison tomorrow?” He asked respectfully while Reed’s heart suddenly felt heavy as he clenched his fist. All his mind screamed was revenge against what they had done to him. The thought of the reason he was in jail came running in his mind as he stared into space, trying his best not to let his anger get the best part of him because things could go downhill.
