Chapter 57. Luck is changing

Cartago is the most elegant and distinguished restaurant in the entire city where Curtis lived. It was Joseph's favorite place to dine, and one could only attend there by helicopter.

"Are you nervous?" Lucius shouted as the helicopter descended atop that beautiful building.

Curtis clung to the helicopter's safety bar, fear evident on his face. He was terrified.

"I just want to get down," Curtis said.

The helicopter's door opened, and restaurant staff courteously helped Curtis descend.

Lucius Garner began to walk towards the interior of the restaurant without saying a word, and Curtis had to hurry to catch up with him.

Entering that place was like visiting a palace from another world. It was sublime, something Curtis had never seen before in his life. It was easy to understand why it was Joseph Stanton's favorite place.

Curtis was shocked when he saw a giant portrait of Joseph right in the center of the restaurant.

"Amazing, isn't it?" Lucius asked, also admiring the artwork.
