"Joseph knew perfectly well that this would happen," said Lucius as Beth threatened her employees.

Lucius took a white sheet of paper he had left outside his briefcase and handed it to Beth in her own hands.

Beth was very puzzled. Her impression was so strong that she even let her guard down for a second to receive that sheet.

She thought it must be something very important for Lucius Garner to approach so calmly knowing that she wanted to harm them both.

"What is this?" Beth asked as she received the document.

"Joseph called it an 'insurance' to protect Curtis from your infinite wickedness," explained Lucius.

"How dare you offend..." Beth prepared to attack Lucius with the bottle, but he stopped her with his hand and a very unsettling confidence.

"If I were you, I'd read that document first before gouging my eyes out with that bottle," Lucius said very calmly.
