63. Wedding ceremony

AT AUGUST 1ST

AT THIRD PERSON'S POV:

In a morning Michael was standing in his room and fixing his clothes. It seemed that he still was not looking perfect for himself.Michael stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the knot of his tie for what felt like the hundredth time. The room around him buzzed with chaotic energy, the sounds of hurried footsteps and distant laughter seeping through the slightly ajar door. He took a deep breath, trying to steady his racing heart. Today was the day.

His best man, Adam, barged into the room, a grin plastered on his face.

"Dude, you look like you're about to face a firing squad, not get married," He joked, clapping Michael on the back.

"Just trying to make sure everything's perfect," he replied, his voice betraying his nerves," Michael said.

"Trust me, man, you look great. Wanessa's going to lose it when she sees you."Adam said.

"Thanks, Alex," Michael said, feeling a bit of the tension ease. "I just want everything to go smoothly."
