“You bastard! How dare you hit me?” Liam Shawn shouted the moment he woke up.

He stood up, not understanding the situation. He looked at the manager and immediately began to drool.

“Pretty woman, are you the manager of this place?”

“Yes. How may I help you?” The manager asked, trying hard to hide her disgust.

“Get this idiot arrested before any other thing. How dare he attack me?” Liam Shawn said with a smile and grabbed the manager's arm.

She immediately tried to push him away, but his strength was superior.

“Don't be like this. I can take care of you, give you luxury items, and let you travel around the world. How about you become my woman?” He said with a creepy smile which made his eyes look smaller than usual.

The manager made a face and immediately tried to push him away.

“Let go of me, now.” She shouted, but Liam paid her no heed.

“Don't be like that. Alright, I understand you're a feisty one that needs to struggle before she submits. It's still morning, I have lots of time to accompany you.” He whispered, reaching for her waist.

At that moment Alvin intercepted his hand, and squeezed it hard.

“You want to take her around the world when you couldn't even buy a real gold chain for yourself. Stop living your fake life. You're from a wealthy family, but yours is just the side branch. And you're not favored because you're useless. But here you are, trying to cause trouble by using the name of your family who don't even care about you.”

“You beggar! I almost forgot about you. Let go of me immediately.” Liam shouted, red faced from anger and embarrassment. Alvin interrupting him just when he was about to touch the soft morning goodness that was delivered right before him offended him a lot. And reminding of his situation in the family which made him indulge in shady businesses was even worse. It could be said that Alvin crossed his bottom line with just a few sour words.

“I might be a beggar, but I don't have the morals of a dog like you do. It's so early in the morning, not yet six a.m, but you're already harassing helpless women. I know you couldn't get beautiful women because your face is hideous, in addition to your little weeny, making you unable to control yourself whenever you see a woman. However, you should have some self respect. She already said no. Are you going to rape her in public? You probably came from a club, yet you're already here shaming your ancestors. If your little brother is going to cause problems, I might as well crush it for you. How about that?” Alvin asked, smiling at Liam. The manager chuckled, making Liam even more embarrassed.

“You bastard!” Liam roared, and immediately attacked Alvin with the other hand.

Alvin blocked the blow and twisted his arm, making him scream out like a pig being butchered.

“You bastard! How dare you? I will kill you!”

“Are you sure? Do you even have the ability? I'm not that easy to kill, you know. Only I can kill people, not the other way around.” Alvin said, still wearing the serene smile that pissed off Liam. The pain, anger, and embarrassment immediately made him irrational and he tried to get out of Alvin’s grasp to fight him.

Alvin tightened his hold on his arm, making it give out a sickening crunch. Before he could understand what was happening, Alvin pushed him to the floor, making him kneel before the manager.

“Apologize to the young lady. Otherwise, you will also lose your dick.” He said coldly, still applying pressure on his arms.

“Dream on! If you dare to harm me, I will make you pay for it!” Liam shouted, unable to take it anymore.

‘This is getting out of hand, I need to intervene. If it escalates further, I will be the one to suffer.’ The manager thought and quickly cleared her throat.

“Young master, please let go. There's no need for an apology.” She whispered and touched Alvin's hand.

Alvin quickly withdrew his hand, as if trying to avoid her touch.

“You're blacklisted. Starlight malls no longer welcomes you.” The manager said coldly, making Liam smile.

He stood up and turned to Alvin.

“Did you hear that? You're blacklisted, get lost immediately and wait for my wrath. When I find you, I will make you suffer.”

Alvin smiled and shook his head.

“Mister Shawn. I mean you. Get out please. Starlight mall no longer wants any transactions with you. From today henceforth, you're banned from entering this building. You will be greeted by sirens if you dare. And of course, you will be arrested and charged for trespassing and sexual harrasment. Leave now, before I change my mind.” She said with the authority of a strong woman who had weathered storms in her life.

“You little slut! Who do you think you are to blacklist me? Do you know who I am?” Liam shouted, turning to the manaher with fury on his face.

“I don't care who you are. Sexual harrasment is a big crime in Starlight mall. I'm letting you off easy by just blacklisting you. Security, throw him out and tell the tech guys to blacklist him.” The manager said harshly, finally showing the anger she kept bottled up.

The security who had been silent all along quickly obeyed, and dragged Liam off as he screamed and cursed at them, threatening to rain down hell on them for daring to humiliate his esteemed self.

“Now, young master, what can I help you with?”

Alvin pushed Leah who had been hiding behind him forward, and gave the manager a tight smile.

“Restock her wardrobe. If the deposit is not enough, tell me. Clean her up and give her a make over. If the spa here is open, do give her a massage to help her relax her nerves.” He whispered, patting Leah's arm.

“Alright, sir. Wait here. What about you?”

“I just need a new change of clothes for now. And of course, I will like to use the mall's shower to clean up. In addition, I also need to stock up my wardrobe. But not too much. And don't give me clothes that are too conspicuous or expensive. She's the one you should give the most attention. As for me, five sets of casual wears, five sets of house wears, five sets of corporate wears, and whatever else you think I might need. Also add body cream and cosmetics. In fact, we currently don't have anything on us. We need to totally restock, from shampoos, body cream, and perfume, to clothes, shoes, bags and jewelry. But remember what I said, she should have seventy percent of the available resources. If it's not enough, you can inform me.”

‘Mhmm. I guess they really escaped from assasins. I made the right choice.’ The manager thought and smiled at him.

“Here, have your card while I get assistants to help with the shopping. Don't worry, I will personally supervise all the process.”

Alvin nodded and accepted the card from him.

“System, is it done?” He asked, watching the manager lead Leah away.

“Not yet.”

Alvin’s heart immediately sank. Does this mean he failed the mission?

However, he was in no mood to listen to any more of the system’s nonsense. Just then, he heard footsteps walk into the longue where he was sitting, making him look up. It was Leah and the manager, alongside two new sales attendants who were struggling with the numerous bags containing the things they bought. “Wow!” Alvin whispered, as he watched the newly transformed girl. She no longer looked like the messed up gutter rat he picked up a few hours ago. She was dressed in a designer skirt and top made of the softest pink cashmere, she was wearing a pearl necklace, a silver colored shoe to match her necklace and her soft skin, silver colored purse, a bracelet made of diamonds, and a beautiful pink strap leather watch which looked very expensive. There are lots of things you won't understand about me going forward, and a lot of things that may not make sense to you. But all I promise is that you will be well taken care of.” Alvin added after some thoughts. “Are you into illegal business?” Leah asked slowly, as if picking her words. “No. Do I look like that kind of person? He even harassed me for no reason.” She shouted, her face twisted with malice. Some of the diners rolled their eyes or gasped at her shamelessness. We need to proceed with caution.” The director felt distressed. On one side was Alvin with unknown origins, on the other side was Troy Caulfield from the powerful Caulfield family who supported Top Taste lots of times. “I'm a VIP here, and I don't need to tell you how important my boyfriend is to the growth of Top Taste. Yet, you will risk offending us for this beggar.” Lisa shouted angrily. The director immediately got angry. “If you didn't hurt the little girl so much I won't be in so much dilemma. Alvin noticed everyone staring at him, making him frown. “Why are you guys looking at me like that? Wuque may keep it, I won't fight anyone for it.” Murong Wuque smiled and looked at him ambiguously. “Are you truly sure you want to let go of it?” Alvin nodded, and Wuque smirked, quickly bringing out a bigger ice box from his storage ring. “Ah? How did our first brother get a hold of this box that is used to store ancient treasures?” Murong Wuque carefully placed the box into the bigger one, and placed a seal on it, quickly sending it into his storage ring. “Then I have to thank you for being generous.” “Why are you thanking me? We found it together.” Alvin replied with a frown showing his nonchalance. Murong Wuque smiled, then bit his lips as if trying to prevent himself from laughing. “What's wrong with you?” Alvin snapped, asking the question in the minds of everyone. Like a trigger, the question made Wuque burst into laughter, laughing loudly. Alvin's eyes narro

Murong Wuque provided five big boxes and the treasures he found were packed into them after he carefully examined them for traces of darkness, to avoid taking back a weapon possessed by an evil spirit. According to the initial agreement, two boxes which were filled with gold, silver, antiques, precious stones, crystals, jade and jewelry were offered to Alvin. “Fellow cultivator, thanks for all your contributions and help so far, and for the ones going forward. Thanks for watching the back of my juniors and clearing the road even when we didn't receive you with adequate sincerity. As agreed, you will keep the material things, while we share the remaining ones equally.” Murong Wuque said, after the two disciples dropped the wo boxes at Alvin’s feet. “Thank you for offering them to me. But is it truly alright to keep them all for myself. There are women among us, I'm sure they will appreciate jewelry.” Alvin said, looking at the group of juniors. Ouyang Tingling smiled and stepp

This information confirmed Alvin's speculation that the vampire-demon species had formed an evil syndicate to create horrors, recruiting evil cultivators to do their dirty business. His eyes went to the frozen, dried corpses laid out on the table, then the makeshift lab at the edge where blood and other materials were stored, the wombs containing fetuses suspended in liquid solution, his heart ached terribly. “So we need to increase the seal on this place and destroy the entrance once we leave. To ensure that whatever they sealed won't be able to show up.” Murong Wuque added. “What kind of formation could we possibly come up with that would be stronger than the one already in place? If we decide to burn this place down, we might end up freeing some of their failed experiments who might have turned into zombies, leaving them to wreak havoc on the world. We can't leave this place to be discovered by others, at the same time, burning everything down might cause more harm than good

Alvin’s brows furrowed, carefully considering the situation. The information from Ouyang Tingling was a very unwelcome bad news, especially for him rushing to complete a mission and return to earth to heal Oliver. He continued to walk around the room, searching for secret doors and compartments, but there was none. The only secret compartment was the room they were currently in. “Wuque, come here.” Alvin shouted, standing before a spot. Murong Wuque obediently went to him, surprising everyone. It was the first time anyone was addressing him by his first name. It was normally young master, first brother, senior, fellow cultivator, or first disciple. Apart from his parents in the Murong clan of the north, and his nominal master, and a very select few elders, no one else called him Wuque. Most elders had to address him as young master or first disciple, a nominal title given to the person expected to be the next valley master. [First disciple doesn't mean he was the first person t

I don't know why I feel so angry.” One of the men said. “This one's stick has streaks of dried cum on it, and he's even smiling like a fool even in death. Pathetic, trading life for sex. He seems to have died recently since the dried mark is still there.” Murong Wuque smiled at the speaker. “Do you want to take a guess on how he died?” He didn't wait for the speaker to complete his sentence and continued. “She used a lust enchantment spell on him, making herself irresistible to him, and led him to the table. He offered her a handkerchief, but she didn't take it, hitting her chest as she cried profusely. He patted her shoulders slowly, letting her cry. After a while, he wiped her tears. “Don't cry, he's in a better place. He won't like to see you like this, utterly broken like one who lost all hope. You have been a strong girl, he would love to see that fire again. Now, more than ever, you need to become more powerful, and live the dream he couldn't achieve. Those things he wanted to do but couldn't before he was cruelly torn away, you should do it on his behalf, achieving his dreams should be your mission. So you can't lose hope, or despair, alright? She didn't bother getting a casket for the rest, but his body was properly preserved, albeit without clothes.” One of the men whispered, the one who seemed to be Wuque's right hand, doing errands for him. Someone sighed heavily. “So being a good guy made him end up in such a pathetic state.” “Doing good is important, but it should be done with lots of tact and sense, to avoid falling into the fire while trying to rescue someone. Murong Wuque was equally frowning, facing the same direction as Alvin. The disciples frowned and quickly ran after them. “You guys are disappointing me.
