She did not see anything bad in being a pauper so far he was making decent money. Why then did he have to be so shy when she was not even shy of him? Being broke was not a crime and no law said that they should feel ashamed about it.

" Jack, you don't have to pretend. No matter how poor you are, I will not look down on you because it's never your fault, okay?" She said and held his hand.
