Not long after they arrived at Damien villa.

Serenity stood at the gate of the villa, her sharp gaze scanning the luxurious property before her. The questions swirling in her mind had grown too loud to ignore. Despite her earlier dismissal of her assistant's theories, something about Damien didn't sit right with her again. She needed answers, and she was determined to get them herself.

Not long after the door opened to reveal Damien, his expression cool and unreadable as he looked at her. “ Serenity,” he said evenly, stepping aside to let her in. “This is unexpected.”

Serenity entered without hesitation, her posture as commanding as ever.

“I had some questions for you,” she said, her tone clipped.

“I thought it best to address them directly.”

Damien gestured toward the sitting area, his movements calm and unhurried.

“Make yourself comfortable,” he said casually, as though he were entertaining an old friend rather than one of the nation’s most decorated military figures.
