Upon hearing Sophia words on the phone.

immediately Jessica leaned closer, her sharp gaze narrowing. Her lips curled into a sneer.

“Really? This is what you’re going with?” She turned to her mother, her voice dripping with mockery. “An actress. He went and hired someone to play along. Isn’t that stupid?”

Her mother crossed her arms tightly, her face twisting with anger.

“You have some nerve,” she spat, directing her fury at Sophia through the phone. “How dare you conspire with him in this charade? Do you think we’re fools?”

However Sophia's calm voice broke through the storm of accusations.

“I don’t know what this is about, but I assure you—”

“Don’t bother,” Jessica interrupted, her tone icy. “No one here is falling for this pathetic little stunt. Honestly, Damien, this is low, even for you.”

However Damien opened his mouth to respond, but Jessica's mother 's sharp voice cut him off. “Enough! Do you think lies will get you anywhere? You’ve embarrassed yourself enough for one day.”

He knew that Damien valued his privacy and wouldn’t appreciate his identity being revealed casually. “It’s better you don’t ask,” Ryan muttered, his tone final.Just as his companion began to reply, a familiar voice broke through the market’s noise. “Ryan!”Jessica appeared, weaving her way toward them with her usual confidence, a bright smile lighting her face. “What a coincidence seeing you here!” she exclaimed, her tone warm.At that moment Ryan's expression immediately cooled, his posture stiffening. “Jessica” he said, his response devoid of enthusiasm. His smile faltered slightly, but he pressed on. “I didn’t expect you at the antique market. Are you looking for something specific?” He hadn’t wanted to come to the market in the first place, knowing full well the tension between Jessica and Damien. The last thing he wanted was to be caught in the middle.“No,” Ryan said curtly. “I was just brough

He’ll be here any second, and trust me, he won’t let someone like you try to act smart.”Her words were meant to cut, to humiliate. She raised her phone, tapping out a quick message to Ryan, clearly summoning him to the scene. At that moment the stall owner, sensing drama brewing, seemed more entertained than concerned about the outcome, knowing he would have doubled the price very soon. However It didn’t take long before Ryan appeared, walking briskly through the market toward the group. However Damien's eyes didn’t waver. He met the man’s gaze with a calm, unbothered expression. “No, you won’t,” he said firmly. “I’ve already paid for it. Step aside.” The man’s smirk faltered, but before he could respond, another voice broke through the tension. “Well, if it isn't Damien.” Turning slightly, Damien spotted Brother wolf emerging from behind the man, his expression dark and hostile. Brother wolf' posture screamed animosity as he stood beside his apparent ally, his arms crossed and his tone dripping with venom remembering his last encounter with Damien. “Looks like you’re still throwing your weight around,” He sneered. “Still acting like you own the place, huh?” Damien didn't reply immediately. At that moment, a man stepped forward from the shadows, his movements calculated and fluid, like a predator sizing up its prey. This wasn’t just any fighter; this was Theodore, a renowned martial artist whose name sent chills through even seasoned warriors. His list of accomplishments was legendary—rumors swirled of him defeating fifty men at once in an underground tournament, and his mastery of pressure-point combat had earned him the moniker "The Unyielding Phantom." Every step he took seemed to command respect, and his stance alone exuded lethal precision. “This is someone worth your time,” Winston sneered, his lips curling into a smirk. He gestured toward Theodore, clearly savoring the moment. “Let’s see if you’re as tough as you think, Damien.” At that moment Theodore didn’t bother with introductions or theatr

It’s said that his disciple—a prodigy—has already surpassed him in skill. Some even claim this disciple is the greatest healer of our time.” Immediately serenity’s interest sharpened, her eyes narrowing slightly. “His disciple?” she repeated. “Do you know who or where he's?” Waylon shook his head, leaning back with a resigned sigh. “No one does, not for certain. But the disciple's reputation has been growing. Unlike the Miracle Doctor, this one occasionally surfaces, helping people in need. If we can track his movements, it might be easier than chasing after a ghost.” At that moment lips curved into a faint smile, her resolve brightening. “A disciple who’s even more skilled than the master,” she murmured. “That’s not just hope—it’s a real chance.”The aft

And I’m willing to offer you ten million dollar.” However Damien’s expression remained calm, his gaze steady as he studied Jefferson. “I appreciate the offer,” he said evenly, his voice carrying no hint of hesitation. “But this antique isn’t for sale.” Jefferson blinked, caught off guard by the firmness in Damien’s tone again. “Not for sale?” he repeated, leaning back in his chair. “Surely, I can make it worth your while. Name your price.” Damien shook his head, his resolve unshaken. “It’s not about the money. This piece is meant to be a gift for an elder—a gesture of my respect. Selling it isn’t an option.” For a moment, the room fell silent, Jefferson’s smile fading slightly as he realized Damien’s stance was immovable. He studied Damien’s face, searching for eve

This so-called ‘antique’ is nothing more than a cheap flea market find, isn’t it?”Her words hung in the air, drawing the attention of nearby family members. A few stifled chuckles broke the silence, emboldening Jessica further. She turned to her father with mock concern. “Father, you don’t really believe this is anything special, do you? It’s obvious Damien just grabbed the first dusty trinket he could afford in the local market.”One of Jessica’s cousins, leaning against the table, chimed in with a sly grin. “It’s almost insulting, don’t you think? A gift like this? It’s as if he doesn’t take your birthday seriously.”Another relative nodded, their voice loud enough to carry across the room. “You’d think someone with his reputation would try a little harder.
