The criminals lay on the ground, their bodies battered and bruised from the fight with Serenity. Despite their defeat, their eyes glinted with a feral intensity, a madness born of desperation and hatred. They glared at Serenity, their lips curling into snarls of defiance.

“You think you've won, War Goddess?”

One of them spat, his voice dripping with venom.

“We'll never let you take us alive.”

However Serenity was still waiting for Damien's response but his eyes were on the thug.

He had seen that look before, the look of men who had nothing left to lose.

They were like cornered animals, ready to lash out with everything they had.

He then glanced at Serenity, expecting to see her readying herself for another fight.

But to his surprise, she remained unconcerned, her posture relaxed and her guard down.

It was as if she didn't even register the threat the criminals posed.

However before Damien could say anything, the air crackled with an eerie energy as the criminals began to move in u

Do you think we’re fools?”However Sophia's calm voice broke through the storm of accusations. “I don’t know what this is about, but I assure you—”“Don’t bother,” Jessica interrupted, her tone icy. “No one here is falling for this pathetic little stunt. Honestly, Damien, this is low, even for you.”However Damien opened his mouth to respond, but Jessica's mother 's sharp voice cut him off. “Enough! Do you think lies will get you anywhere? You’ve embarrassed yourself enough for one day.”

Are you looking for something specific?” He hadn’t wanted to come to the market in the first place, knowing full well the tension between Jessica and Damien. Step aside.” The man’s smirk faltered, but before he could respond, another voice broke through the tension. “Well, if it isn't Damien.” Turning slightly, Damien spotted Brother wolf emerging from behind the man, his expression dark and hostile. Brother wolf' posture screamed animosity as he stood beside his apparent ally, his arms crossed and his tone dripping with venom remembering his last encounter with Damien. “Looks like you’re still throwing your weight around,” He sneered. “Still acting like you own the place, huh?” Damien didn't reply immediately. At that moment, a man stepped forward from the shadows, his movements calculated and fluid, like a predator sizing up its prey. This wasn’t just any fighter; this was Theodore, a renowned martial artist whose name sent chills through even seasoned warriors. His list of accomplishments was legendary—rumors swirled of him defeating fifty men at once in an underground tournament, and his mastery of pressure-point combat had earned him the moniker "The Unyielding Phantom." Every step he took seemed to command respect, and his stance alone exuded lethal precision. “This is someone worth your time,” Winston sneered, his lips curling into a smirk. He gestured toward Theodore, clearly savoring the moment. “Let’s see if you’re as tough as you think, Damien.” At that moment Theodore didn’t bother with introductions or theatr

Serenity eyebrows lifted slightly. “What do you mean?” Leaning forward, Waylon lowered his voice as though sharing a secret. “The Miracle Doctor isn’t the only one capable of treating something like Seven star spirit poison. It’s said that his disciple—a prodigy—has already surpassed him in skill. Some even claim this disciple is the greatest healer of our time.” Immediately serenity’s interest sharpened, her eyes narrowing slightly. “His disciple?” she repeated. “Do you know who or where he's?” Waylon shook his head, leaning back with a resigned sigh. “No one does, not for certain. But the disciple's reputation has been growing. Unlike the Miracle Doctor, this one occasionally surfaces, helping people in need. If we can track his movements, it might be easier than chasing after a ghost.” At that moment lips curved into a faint smile, her resolve brightening. “A disciple who’s even more skilled than the master,” she murmured. “That’s not just hope—it’s a real chance.”The aft

I’ve kept quiet for too long, but I don’t like this anymore. It’s getting out of hand.”He turned toward Serenity, his tone no less firm. “What we’re doing here—it’s not right. Using a woman’s honor as leverage? Blackmailing her for the identity of a man who saved us?”He looked down, his fists clenched at his sides. “This will not end well. And I don’t want to be part of this.”At that moment Serenity stepped forward, her voice quiet yet unwavering.“Don’t worry,” she said gently, locking eyes with him. “I’m not going to give their identity out.”“I’m not going to say I got the identity from you,” Serenity said quietly, her words steady

Now we can talk real business.”At that moment he leaned forward slightly, resting both hands on his cane, the air around him suddenly heavier with authority. “Once you speak with the Supreme King… once you put in a good word for us, just as you’ve promised… then you will get what you came for. You have my word.”Upon hearing what Sophia grandfather just said, Serenity’s expression didn’t change, but the tension in her jaw said enough. She had expected pushback. His thoughts raced. What about if any of them needed help from the miracle doctor? Would he even come here again? He looked at Serenity, standing tall and unreadable, her arms crossed, her gaze sharp but calm. She wasn’t bluffing. She meant every word. She had the power to reward them greatly — or walk away and never return.Sophia’s father swallowed hard. ‘She’s serious. If we help her… we’ll get favor. Heat rose to her chest. Not the kind that came from fear, but the kind that boiled under layers of held-back restraint. ‘How dare she come into their home and speak like that?’At that moment Sophia finally stepped forward, her voice sharp but composed. “So that’s why you came?” she asked, staring directly at Serenity’s back. “To threaten my family?”Serenity paused but didn’t turn.Sophia took one more step. “You know, I understand your reputation.
