He looked up, his eyes meeting hers.

She cleared her throat softly. “The items I bought at the audition… what happened to them?”

Damien lowered his phone. “They’re here.”

“Here?” she echoed.

He nodded. “Yeah. I paid for them before we left. They’re in the room next door.”

Upon hearing what hearing what Damien said, Sophia blinked, surprised. “You… paid for them?”
