Chapter one hundred and ninety

Richard was about to speak, but before he could finish, Lady Hamilton shouted.

“What does he know?I think he was just making nonsense.I don't think he would make a lucky guess and find out that the vase was really fake.”

After Lady Hamilton spoke, the atmosphere in the car instantly dropped to freezing point.

Hearing Lady Hamilton, Amelia,who was driving, turned her head and glared at her. With an ugly expression, she said, “Mom, what nonsense are you talking about?”

“Nonsense? How am I spouting nonsense?” Lady Hamilton's face darkened, and she continued,“ Richard never touched the vase at all, and he is not an antique expert. How could he possibly know that the vase was fake?”

“Can't you tell that the vase is fake just because you haven't touched it? What if Richard knew a lot about antiques?” Amelia also seemed to think that Lady Hamilton's words made sense, so her voice became much softer towards the end.

Lady Hamilton sneered. “Does he look like someone who knows antiques?”
