After a long sleep, Zayan woke up, it was daytime, and the red-blooded sun was shining in the sky. Zayan looked around to find Abban but, he was nowhere to be seen. Anny was cleaning the floor, where Abban had slept. She was sitting and brushing the blood off the ground with a wet cloth. Zayan became curious, 'What the hell is up with her? She isn't afraid of us; people die of a heart attack just by laying eyes on Abban. And she said that he stinks and now she is cleaning his room. Could it be?' He frowned and stood up instantly, he took a blade off the wall and placed it on her neck, Anny fell backward with sudden shock and fear, her eyes filled with fear of death. She started shaking to the bones. "You are a spy, aren't you?" Anny felt not only fear but, her life flashing before her eyes, 'I'm going to die, and he is going to kill me.' "What do you think you are doing?" Abban jumped in through the window, "She must be a spy, that's why she is staying quietly here, she isn't even a Soliden but she hasn't cried even once." Abban took the blade from Zayan and threw it away, Zayan walked towards Abban, "She is a spy, she must be. No one can stay so calmly with Hellborns." Abban eyed Anny, "Are you a spy?" Anny was still sitting on the ground, her whole body shaking. She couldn't answer, her ear went numb for some time. After a second or two, "No, sir, I am no spy, even if I were I wouldn't be able to get anything out of you. Because I am weak." Muttered same words her father had told her to, in case she got into a situation like this.
"Let's go, we are going to kill Hellguard."
"How are we going to do that?" Zayan frowned, Abban sat on the window, legs hanging outside, "We first kill the strongest. The Eight is the strongest, right?" Zayan nodded. "We take him down and then seven would be easy and others would be even easier." Zayan sighed and loaded his weapons. "Like you would ever have a plan, you meathead." Abban pointed his finger towards Anny, 'You are coming with us.' Zayan chuckled; he knew Abban had some screws loose. Bringing a weak human to a fight with a Hellguard wasn't something everyone would do. "But, I--" Anny tried to mutter something but, Abban interrupted, "Shut up and do as I say." Anny didn't utter a word and followed Zayan and Abban as they jumped throw the window, she was in the room for a second but she was ordered to follow him so she ran and jumped. Falling from seventy feet, she let out a scream but then covered it as she was falling. Just when she was twenty feet from the ground, someone grabbed her hand and pulled her in from the window. Abban and Zayan both were standing in the room, "Were you trying to suicide?" Anny looked pale, maybe it was because she just jumped from a building or that Abban was still holding her hand too tightly. Abban looked at her and let go of the hand, his fingers printed on Anny's soft skin. "You said to follow you, that's why I followed you." She said with a light and shallow tone, it almost sounded innocent. Zayan started laughing out loud like the idiot he is, "She is an idiot," he laughed, "And, she is funny." Abban took the door this time; this wasn't his room for sure. But the door was open, as all doors of Hellborn's rooms were open. It is a way of them showing that they are humble servants to the Empire. Anny followed them down the street and they happened to – or Abban did it intentionally—pass by Anny's house. She looked at her house for a moment but, she just walked and didn't stop to get a good look. Anny followed them wherever they went, Abban walked all around the domain, it was big enough that even if one were to walk 40 days and night in a row, still wouldn't be able to see everything. Not that it was filled with bountiful things; beauty was another thing that Djinn Domain lacked. Even the palace of Djinn king was covered in blood, not that he didn't like a clean palace but, once in a week it rained blood from clouds. And stained everything, mostly things were red, some cleaned but others didn't bother even cleaning.
Abban stopped in front of a big wall, it was more than eighty feet tall. Anny frowned; 'they were serious about taking Eighth Hellguard down, isn't he immortal?' She thought, fear consumed her but, she wasn't shaking. But, her stomach started making weird noises, "Are you hungry? I am hungry too." A voice came from behind, she stood there and didn't turn back she knew it was the end for her. Because she knew, it was the sound of a Djinn for sure. Abban turned around and Zayan did as well. A 9-foot-tall, strange being stood there, he was made up of wood, tree branches coming from his head like two big horns. His body was covered with a shadow-like mist, his eyes and mouth giving off orange fire. He had a half nose and it was giving off fire as well. His whole body was throwing off fire sparks once in a while. "B-grade Djinn--" Zayan muttered. Even he looked a little bit afraid, "Oh, what are you doing here?"
Djinn asked, B-grades are strong and they can speak but not properly. And they lack mind, they are idiots just like Anny. Abban walked forward, "I am Abban the Ripper. We are here to deliver this fragile-skinned human to Hellguards." His voice was hard, dead, confident, and mostly dead. He always talked like he didn't want to. It was common for Hellguards to ask Hellborns to carry their parcels. "You want to eat this girl, you hungry," He rubbed his hand to his head, "need a brain to eat, fresh memories ." All Djinn have different things that they eat to fill their bellies, skin, meat, eyeballs, brain, organs, memories, dreams, soul, etc. Abban placed his hand on his sword's handle. "I try to slay me?"
Zayan looked at Woodwraith, "Why would you try to slay yourself?" Abban looked at Zayan, "They have speech but they can't get pronouns right." The Woodwraith said with an idiotic tone, "She will kill it and eat the Sofitel." Abban ran forward before Woodwraith could see him, he jumped on his head and took him by his horns before anyone could comprehend what was going on, Abban Buried Woodwraith's head down in the ground, and broke his left horn. Abban backed down, and Woodwraith stood up, "You are angry." He yelled and elongated his right hand to punch Abban, but before his fist could make contact, Abban ducked down and stabbed his hand with the horn that he had taken off from his head. Woodwraith's hand started bleeding but, before it could touch Abban, he jumped away. The thing coming from his hand wasn't blood, it was lava. Djinns have lava surging through their body. Just before Woodwraith called his hand back, red lava touched the ground, burning it. "I know you are strong and all
Anny hung with the arrow, Abban took the rope off from the arrow that was attached to the wall, and then he took another arrow and tied rope with it, then shot the arrow just a few feet down from the chamber of Zephyrclaw. Abban was about to start climbing when they saw blue eyes looking down on them from up there. That thing looked at them for a second then backed down to its chamber, "At last someone came, I was just about to die of boredom." Zephyrclaw thought to himself before he sat down on his throne like chair a few stairs up. Abban started climbing the wall, "Looks like I was right," Zayan sighed. When Abban reached the arrow he stood on it and grabbed the window's bottom side and pulled himself up. That's when he laid eyes on the Eighth Hellguard, Zephyrclaw. His body was wrapped around with zinc and blue colored cloths; even his mouth was covered with a scarf, blue fire coming from his head. He had four hands and no legs, only rags in place of legs floating in the air. He wa
"You survived that! You are the strongest humans I have ever met, no one in the past made me use this much Djinn force." Abban stood up straight and took out something from the back of his robe, it was as big as Zephyr's sword, maybe even bigger but it wasn't a sword for its handle was 5 feet long and a big axe-like head, a weapon in ancient times used by great warriors, Gandasa. Abban always had it but, never used it on humans, it was big and only a foot of handle was visible when he had it in his robe. Gandasa, a legendary weapon and a fearsome one, not everyone can use it for its heavy and too big to swing around. Zayan's face lightened up, "I knew he would use that, I was waiting for it." Abban held Gandasa with both hands, not from the handle but from its head; Zephyr seemed confused and surprised by the shape of the weapon because he had never seen anything like that in his life. He floated a few feet towards Abban, the second Abban came in his range he swung his sword and trie
The man who came out from Zephyrclaw's body was lying down on Abban's floor. Zayan was sitting in the corner right next to Abban, while Hania was standing in front of the washroom door. "We shouldn't have brought him here," Zayan says, "He came out from a Djinn, how many humans do you know who come out from Djinns?" He looked at Abban, "Come on, say something, I've been talking since we got here."Abban was sitting on the ground with no armor on, just a simple black torn-up shirt. He had wounds on his right arm and he was bleeding on the floor. He just looked at Zayan and ignored him.Zayan stood there a minute or two, then suddenly, started kicking the man's unconscious body, "Wake the hell up you stupid little shit!" He shouted as he kicked him over and over. "Stop it!" Abban said with a calm voice. Zayan stopped kicking; his golden bangs were covering his face. He tied them up and sat down slowly. "What are we waiting for now?" Zayan asked, Abban sighed and stood up, his both hand
4 years ago, Nothing in sight but darkness. Suddenly, the door opens, and light wanders into the room from the door. A man walks into the room, and he had black hairs and he was wearing glasses. He didn't seem like a big guy. He was not more than 5 feet. But, he was wearing a white long coat that touched the ground. Nothing else was visible. Suddenly, he stops and looks down; a boy is chained to the ground. One of his hands was nailed to the ground, the other one chained to his wrist. He had scars all over his body; more than half of his wounds were still open, showcasing his internal organs. But he wasn't screaming or crying. He was smiling, lying on the ground with nothing but a torn-up rag instead of pants and nothing on his upper body. His dark black hairs were shining like a sky on a full moon. Both eyes closed. "Are you enjoying yourself?" The guy with a white coat asked, "I am hungry, and I am losing too much blood. Get me something or this body might faint, doctor." The other
“What do we do now?” Zayan asked Abban, they both were sitting in the bar, around a table. “You defeated 1 Hellguard and more than a hundred Woodwraiths. They will come for you, The Hellcops. A human capable of killing a Djinn meets his end and killed—not killed, but stole a Hellguard. What’s next?” Hellcops— a unit of A-grade Djinns—their main goal is to find out Hellborns who have committed one of the 5 deadly sins-- killing a Djinn, becoming stronger than a Djinn, leaving his post as a Hellborn, and stealing from Djinn King. Abban eyed Zayan, his eyes dead as always, not a shred of emotion in them. “I can deal with Hellcops.” Abban takes a sip from his drink and shifts his gaze towards his Gandasa which was resting in his lap. “You killed hundreds of Djinns, you are stronger than many Djinns, you are also going to leave your seat as a Hellborn and join SRA (Soliden’s Rebel Army) and you stole a Hellguard from Djinn King. You have committed all five of The Great-Sins.” “They will
All Hellborns stood up the second those monsters busted in the bar. “They are the Twins, they are one of the strongest Hellcops. I would have known they would send them.” Zayan thought. Abban looked at them, picked up his Gandasa rested it on his shoulder, and walked a few steps closer to the Hellcop as if he already knew this was going to happen. He had his Gandasa in his right hand. When he was in the range, Abban picked the Gandasa up and struck the one standing in the front, his name was Valefar. But, he jumped back, he had amazing reflexes. “Good try,” He charged forward, Abban swung his heavy Gandasa once again but someone stopped it. It was Batibat, the other Hellcop. Before Abban could pull his Gandasa back, Valefar struck him in the chest with his fist. Abban flew a few feet away with his Gandasa but he maintained his balance and didn’t fall. Abban once again charged forward, Valefar rushed to him before he could reach them. Abban swung his Gandasa from right to left, and Val
Batibat rushed towards Abban, but he didn’t move he just stood there, bleeding—eyes on the ground, standing with the help of Gandasa. Suddenly, everyone saw something they thought they would never see, a smirk on Abban’s face. Never did he ever changed his expression, but now he was smiling. It looked creepy, because his left eye became totally black. The darkness filled in his left eye as he looked at Batibat who was coming to kill him. He suddenly stopped and gulped, terror in his face was clear, he froze there. Abban slowly walked near him, dragging his Gandasa behind him. He still had a smile on his face. Abban picked up his Gandasa with just one hand. He smirked again and with a swift strike he sliced both of his legs with his Gandasa. Batibat’s upper body slowly started falling down from its lower part. But Abban didn’t wait for his body to fall down, he struck Gandasa once again and took his head off and crushed the floor along with it. Abban tripped backwards but maintained
