Glossary of Terms.

Marks.

Mark Bearer:

A person chosen to bear the Titan's Mark. They are also descendants of Ambevilius and are his possible successors.

Titan's Mark:

Proof of being a Mark Bearer. It is in the form of a tattoo in the shape of a golden coiling dragon.

Custodian:

A formerMark Bearer who has given up their rights to succession and willingly follows another Mark Bearer.

House:

A Regiment of Custodians under a Mark Bearer. A Marke Bearer can only posses a maximum of five houses. Custodians in a House have ranks. They are ranked in this order from highest to lowest-

Minister Prime

Minister

Reverent

Clerk

Ordinary Custodian

A House is organized as follows-

House Scale- a group of Custodians and their Clerk

House Claw- a group of Clerks and their Reverent

House Fang- a group of Reverents and their Minister

Claws:

These are claws that are on the Titan's Mark, they represent the amount of talent a Mark Bearer has. One being the lowest and five being the highest.

Subduction:

The process of a Mark Bearer becoming a Custodian

Cultivation.

There are two main vocations, warriors and mages. Warriors use qi and mages use mana.

Cultivation Levels are divided into Realms. These Realms are further divided into sub levels. The first Realm is the Foundation Realm at it divided into nine sub levels which are as follows:

Mages-

Lower Novice (sub level one)

Middle Novice (sub level two)

Upper Novice (sub level three)

Lower Acolyte (sub level four)

Middle Acolyte (sub level five)

Upper Acolyte (sub level six)

Lower Scholar (sub level seven)

Middle Scholar (sub level eight)

Upper Scholar (sub level nine)

Warriors-

Lower Student (sub level one)

Middle Student (sub level two)

Upper Student (sub level three)

Lower Fighter (sub level four)

Middle Fighter (sub level five)

Upper Fighter (sub level six)

Lower Teacher (sub level seven)

Middle Teacher (sub level eight)

Upper Teacher (sub level nine)

World Energy:

The energy that exists in nature that cultivators take in to convert into either mana or qi. It is divided into five types of elements; fire, water, metal, wood and earth.

Yuan:

A special type of energy that consists of both mana and qi.

Karmic Kings:

People who have done great deeds in their past lives and are blessed by karma in their new lives.

Bloodline Awakening:

The process of awakening a powerful bloodline that exists in your body. This bloodline stems from an ancient ancestor and once this bloodline is awakened, it transforms the body of the cultivator in respect to the aspects of the bloodline.

Bloodline Legacy:

These are techniques or spells that a cultivator receives after awakening their bloodline.

Alchemist:

A rare type of mage that creates dans.

Dan:

A special pill that is created by an Alchemist to assist in many things, such as cultivation or healing.

Soul Sworn:

A person who is bound to another person in servitude via a ritual that bonds souls.

Meister:

A person who owns at least one Soul Sworn

Soul Force:

Energy from the soul that has many uses, such as collecting World Energy and circulating qi and mana.

Soul Food:

Energy that nourishes the soul.

Harmonization:

When World Energy synergizes with a person's body, allowing cultivation to begin.

Forced Harmonization:

Harmonization that is forced to occur using Soul Force.

Daemonic Beast:

A creature that absorbs World Energy to cultivate. Their sentience increases with their cultivation. They are often vicious toward humans.

Daemonic Core:

Where the Daemonic Beast stores its World Energy.

Geography

The Sovereign Continent has five major regions which are:

The Northern Glaciers

The Southern Grasslands

The Western Deserts

The Eastern Islands

The Central Jungles

Each of the major regions is further divided into sub regions.

Empire:

A nation that has land that is roughly the size of a sub region.

True Empire:

A nation that has land that spans across multiple sub regions

True Emperor:

Ruler of a True Empire

Warlord:

Ruler of an Empire in The Western Deserts

Tyrant:

Ruler of a True Empire in The Western Deserts.

Cities are ranked according to size and development. The ranks go from E rank to SSS rank. Most cities are rank less because they fall far belowe the E rank standards.
