17. The Fight Against The Demon

Nilfour immediately took out another black commando knife from behind his waist, holding it in his right hand.

But suddenly, something that had never been recorded in history as far as he had known happened before him.

The demon who was originally supporting himself with his hands on the ground, suddenly lifted it up, then clapped.

*Claps*

Then spoke in a hoarse voice that sounded unpleasant to hear,

"Nice. Nice. A very nice fight. You are indeed human as what been described. A really good choice for an entertainment."

04 is instead horrified.

It gave him goosebumps all over his body. 'No way! Could it even possible learning human language. Before, the Demon only growled and roared with saliva flowing out of its mouth. What an abomination. Or maybe this is a different kind of Demons.

If it is, then how strong would it be. Wait. If. If it may just recently learn about the language and doesn't understand much about human.

Maybe I could try. It is very likely that this Demon aren't good at deceptive words. Since their nature is just like a ferocious animal, with little brain cells, and too much strength. Okay. Let's try dig on some information'

"What are you trying to achieve? Obstruct me from reaching those kids?" asked 04 with a face that showed a tough front while also slightly lifting his chest, which was instead answered by the Demon with mocking laugh and jeering.

"Kihihahaaha. Human. Do you take me for being a fo*l. Do you think I have no brains and let you dig into any of our plans? Are you d**b? You're too much overestimate yourself."

'Are you d*mb?'

'Du*b?'

'This is much more painful than the piercing words Sir Gerard used or when Lliza rejected me.' Thought Nilfour with his pride wring and rumpled.

Nilfour silenced, and speechless is how he could describe his feeling.

Somehow this situation made him the one who were an id*ot.

"Don't you yourself find the shifty, cruel nature of humans, are because influenced by the Natural Orders.

You're Soul trapped in a flesh, so weak it always under the cycles that this world has to offer.

You can't expect yourself surpassing your flesh, which limit whence where you belong.

"What you're into?", asked Nilfour.

'Why did the first ever discovery of talking Demon end up being so chatty.' Thought Nilfour.

He tried to came up with more maneuver and tactics, all the while shaped more Rune on his Soul Space, for the move he was about to take.

'Since the Demon could talk, there's a chance he's stronger than any other Demon I've ever faced. One wrong move, and I'm dead.' He deliberately ignoring the Raging Shade behind him who was still watching, though he actually ready to deal with it.

" Joins us... I, Sorcratuz, I'm willing to brought you into the Underworld. The place where we live and thrived. And I promise you that you'll evolve from the current you to be more, than just flesh and blood... to... "

Then the Demon called Sorcratuz interrupted, when he saw Nilfour who was galloping towards him.

"Uncultured Sw**e." said Sorcratuz in displeasure.

Nilfour slashed with his black commando knife but dodged by the Demon.

Then replied by Sorcratuz with an uppercut that created a strong gust of wind upon launch, which made all the pebble, dust and mist alike appear blown out.

Nilfour quickly dodged by flipping, somersault backwards.

Nilfour whom now had cold sweat on his back and rapidly pounding heart, knew that the Devil in front of him by far was the strongest than any Demon he had ever encounter.

Sorcratuz tapped his monkey feet on the ground and launched Itself with great speed far surpassing the Spirit from before. 'S**t' thought Nilfour who never expected It speed even far greater than its strength, surpassing his expectation.

There is a Rune came out from his chest than shattered, in unison with an Origin Spell, "Iresti Acto"(Amplifiy), then came a somewhat golden transparent shield. He also crossed his arm in front of him. 'It won't be enough'.

True to 04 expectation, when the punch from Demon came, it only delayed a little bit of time before crushed to mottle of light.

*Boom*

There's smoke came out of it with ground shards, grass and gravel scattered.

When all the smoke obscuring the view cleared, there was only a large hole, with cracked ground where the Demon had punched.

But luckily there wasn't a shred of flesh and blood.

There was only the black commando knife that was still left intact

It could be seen, in the body of it, there is only one Rune left shining, which then immediately dimmed out of light.

While Nilfour are now at the site of the explosion from his Rune. 'That's crazy'.

But he then seems aware and noticing something.

He quickly punch at the ground with a few Rune (Flame) (Force).

It is where the last Raging Shade whom face barely out, struck by a punch covered with blazing flame that flared and spread upwards after the impact.

He then looked ahead, where Sorcratuz was standing.

"You're all livestock who were too smart for your own good. Why fight back when we actually giving you chance. It's great honor for you degraded being, to become our entertainment. When we rip your flesh apart. When we heard your scream in agony while we chew on your flesh and bone. While we enjoy your shower of blood when we divide you into half. And when we pull out your tongue and skinned you alive, hahahaaha, it squirm agitated in pain..."

04 Who heard it instead simply re-sheathed his knife behind his waist, then sneered at Sorcratuz, "As expected of animal,,, You learn to spoke just to say some unintelligent words. I bet in your whole crossbreed life, it never cross your mind to roast and ate goat head yet",

Simultaneously while he snub at Sorcratuz, he lifted his right hand, spread his fingers, and direct it at Sorcratuz who growl in anger after he said roasted goat's head.

Five Rune with different color sparkles, connected with thin golden line creating shape of Pentagram. Five pointed star with a spinning golden orb in the center.

Nilfour clench his hand, pull it back and took a stance to hit.

Sorcratuz who sensed danger seemingly wish to dodged, but his effort were in vain.

Because the Rune keep following his movement and position, no matter how fast he moved. And it's all because the Rune (Lock).

He knew he couldn't escape.

Then he put two of his skinny hands facing the golden Rune, side by side with his fingers spread, which seemed to have dried blood on it.

Sorcratuz also whispered in an inexplicable voice from his goat's mouth.

Three Rune with black hazy color formed, connected by black lines to form a circle. There was also circle after circle of black light around the Rune.

All of these things were burned by black flames that were slightly greenish in color.

In the center was a greenish-black flame forming a skull, while the black Rune itself moving on the orbit.

Nilfour who saw it immediately used the Origin Spell, "Iresti Acto"(Amplify).

Then immediately punched the golden spinning orb in the center, which got brighter after Nilfour using the Origin Spell.

After taking a hit from Nilfour, the spinning golden sphere then exploded, creating a a blast circle of golden light, ending with Nilfour teleporting right in front of the Rune created by Sorcratuz.

Sorcratuz that just forming it's own Rune quickly brace himself for the impact.

When the Nilfour punch that appears with a fist that glows with golden flames, encounters a black Rune.

There was a slight resistance, with golden light shining brightly in the mist while the other side was a greenish black flame that made all the mist around it dissipate.

The two colors seemed to split in half from the point where the 04 hit, with the golden light that seemed to start to shine even brighter.

Seconds later, the victorious side emerged as the stronger one was quickly decided.

Golden light seemed to engulf the greenish black flame.

Then in front of Sorcratuz, Nilfour golden fists transformed into thick flames that seemed to be swirling, creating a vortex of fire in his hand, destroying the black Rune formation, then coming to meet one of Sorcratuz's hands.

Sorcratuz expect a great impact startled when Nilfour fist hit his right hand, who he then quickly took back.

Nilfour with flames swirling in his hands swiftly jumped backwards with two white Rune shattered on each side of his back, (Lighten) (Accelerate).

While in the air close to the ground, the fire in his left hand seemed to be extinguished. He quickly snapped his right finger creating a 'flick' sound.

Sorcratuz, who was confused at first, but seemed to see an opportunity, wanted to jump at Nilfour who was still in the air, off the ground.

However, he was immediately stopped as flames began to spread from the hand that met the fist of the Nilfour.

*Boom*

An Explosion even greater than the last where it made the Mourning Templar, Raging Shade and Howling Widow disappear ensued.

A burst of air with a strong destructive effect from the explosion, hit the seemingly fine Nilfour, due to the golden light that enveloped him.

And it all made him even further away from the site of the explosion.

But he doesn't relax yet.

*Ting*

*Ting*

*Ting*

Then unexpectedly, a small bell rang.

The sound seemed to reverberate in all directions in the fog.

Amidst the sound of the blazing fire that seemed to be going out soon, the bell sounded especially clear with its crisp tone. Whereas the fog covering the Cemetery was also gradually fading away.

Then the smoke from the explosion dissipated bit by bit, while the silhouette of Sorcratuz appeared faintly in the smoke after the explosion.

"We'll meet again, human. When the times turn up, I'll going to crush and inflict you with unimaginable pain!" The voice of Sorcratuz from afar heard close to the ear of Nilfour, jarringly. With deep intonation, It's hoarse voice seems to contain deepest rage and hatred.

When the mist is gone, all that was left was a mess in the yard of the Cemetery, though it doesn't much since the Force from Life Energy had limited impact physically on the planet, except the punch from the Demon which will be a huge headache for those tasked to handle it.

Nilfour then awakened, in turn made him realizing something's that put a panic into his heart, 'Darn, don't tell me those kids all being done.'

He swiftly running inside to the part of cemetery where there is a lot of gravestone, looking for them.
