18. Another Crisis

After searching for a full minute without result, arrive two person. One man and one woman came to Nilfour side, under the yellow lamp of the cemetery.

From afar, it could be seen both used black clothes all over their whole body. Jacket with hood and a lot of small pocket, a black gloves and a black mask covering half of their face from chin to nose.

Some of their body part attached with thin black steel like armor, covering their lower leg and some part of their hand.

There is also few handle of knives visible around their chest and thigh.

If looked closer, their eyes glowing red. There is also red blood insignia at their left chest. There is white silvery number in it. The female had six nine four as number, while the male had three nine two.

It was Proof Badge of those Igniters who graduate from Private and believed to had sufficient capabilities as a combatant, to be entrusted and tasked as leader of Train Group, espionage, and including participate in as member of Night Watchers.

They are called Ranker.

"Captain..." The  two of them came and said in unison.

"Did you find them? Where's the other?" asking Nilfour.

"Some of them busy bringing the few Devil Devotees back to the base for interrogation. While few just recently following the car of Rick Benisson." Stated by the male. He had crew cut black hair and white skin.

"Ohh, report as we run for those kids!" Expressed by Nilfour.

Then the three of them running fast with Rune, out from the Cemetery, going to the side of the road where there is a large area covered chiefly with trees and undergrowth. Since it is forest at the road lead to the Cemetery.

"We do as what captain order us. We divide ourselves into four group. But on our way, we've meet a lot of Delta and Epsilon Rank Spirit. There's also few Devil Devotees. But they seems only there to hold us of. There is a lot of them and it overwhelm us, but all the group still manage to resist. Halfway through our battle, came someone with a black cloak. None of us reckon it clearly whether it is Devotee, Spirit or something else. But after that person came, they start retreating.

No obstacle anymore, we continue our search, but couldn't find any Discharge Spot. Till we end up back assemble at the front gate of the Cemetery. Assume they somehow capable to cast it from inside, some of us suggest to try get inside the mist, and that's where we find few faint shadows coming back. We quickly hide ourselves, and unexpectedly, the kids is the one who got out and it seems they're fine." Reply the female with frowning. She had medium ginger wavy hair, tied behind her, with olive skin.

"But Erik Benisson seems already possessed, evident from Death Energy aren't leaked anymore. He also appear fine except black under his eyes and pale face. We send three members after them, then we both stay here waiting for Captain, while the rest go to the base." Continue by the male one.

With troubled and upset voice, Nilfour spoke, "I hope the kid soul is still in there, alive..."

'Even though it's clearly a fact that Devils and Demons aren't in a good relationship. But now,,, there is really high possibilities the Demon and Half-Devils colluding for something.'

Then Nilfour again asked, "how 'bout you all?"

"There is no casualties on our side, but one member seriously injured. A ranker. It's Five nine three (593)... The others were injured, included especially, the three Private kid." answer the female while running, who then hurriedly clarify, "We already try our best protecting those three, but there's too many of them. Protecting them also the being the cause some of us injured."

Nilfour only gesture with a wave of his hand and with somewhat comforting tone, said, "Relax babe, i handle it. It wasn't our fault since those Noble is the one insist for those kid to join us Ranker."

'The situation still impasse with those Elders, while the Noble just plain pawn. Sighh... Forget it. Let those higher up handle it. We still shorthanded to fight against the Spirit.' Thought by Nilfour.

While he bein' dizzy with a lot of problem that seems big constituent to the problem plagued by most Igniters and those of higher ups in the Empire, the female Ranker instead joked, "Oh captain, careful with your word. You always speak like you'll going to flirted around."

The man at the side who also a Ranker coughed at that, while 04 instead replied, "uh,, Cooper, please don't joke like that. Pretty lady better hold your heart tight, i ain't responsible if you fall for someone as handsome as me."

The two at the side who heard him instead speechless, 'Captain, you and your narcissistic behavior indeed maybe the biggest reason captain Elli rejecting you.' Though both of them while seems to also reminded into certain someone in the team who were closest with their Captain.

"Did any of you heard sound of bell's ringing?"

"No, we don't." Replied the male Ranker after exchanged glance with the woman's Ranker.

"Ummmh." Respond Nilfour with a nod.

They finally stopping after running a few minutes in the forest. It could be seen there's a track lead to the road outside, but somehow cut off by trees. "Altis Eximo" (Release) Nilfour said with an audible voice. Right then emerge a white glowing Rune, that right after shattered.

Like influx of liquid, the image in front of them seems twist, contorted next appear normal. What came into view of them is a clear area with three black motorcycle parked. The body itself seems armored with black steel armor, and big wheels with the rims also colored black metallic.

They each took one to ride. Then from their pocket, took a small rectangular thin bar with silver color and black number inscribed in it.

There is also red rope, tied in the end of the bar that had small hole in it.

Each press it at the socket on the ignition switch, , which then the motorcycle shortly turned on with muffled roar.

Back to the present.

"On the way, we contact those who following the car, and the report is, they arrive at Gavin mansion. One of them checking thing's out on the two boy while also protecting them. While the other two following the car which is then, even till now we still can't reach the two of them." explain Nilfour who felt feathery concerning about the two of them.

While Sir George frowning with Nilfour elucidation, Gavin and Peter is at the attendance lobby, who later met Rick Benisson's parents.

They found Rick mother crying in stifle, while the father was busy comforting his wife by caressing her back. It could be seen there is sorrowful expression on his stern square face.

The mother is a middle aged woman who had olive skin, with blond long straight hair, and appear wearing long sleeve dark blue dress. She had blue eyes just like her son, which seems hereditary to Rick Benisson. Her name is Vinniera Benisson.

While the father had brown skin, with neat short black curly hair. He used a patterned formal suit with charcoal grey color. He had orange eyes. His name is Reghine Benisson.

While Gavin and Peter made their way, the husband and wife took notice of them.

"It's been a while, Gavin, Peter." Uttered by the father of Rick Benisson with a curt and smile that seems forced. The mother also trying hard to smile at them.

Gavin replied with awkward smile, since Peter indeed was right that he is suspicious of Rick, 'who knows if Rick actually had weird hobby. With how rich their family, he could afford secretly create strange weapon to kill someone.' thought Gavin,

Then he replied, "I have been well, thank you for asking, uncle,,," then suddenly, Gavin jolted by Peter who appeared behind him, tugging at the back of his leather jacket, as if warning him on something.

"hahaha, yes, yes, we're well uncle,, aunty..." said Peter with equally awkward smile. Then Peter pull him to sit on the opposite site of Mr Regin and Mrs Vinera.

"What is it?" Asked Gavin.

"Hummm,, nothing." replied Peter who after rummaging on his small bag, took his phone, and then busying himself by typed something on it.

Gavin who already used with his habits perplexed. He knows once Peter typed on something when asked, means there is something weird he wished to tell.

*crreeaakkk* came the sound of the door, opening.

There appear an old woman who seems to be past the age of fifty, holding the hand of a little girl on her right, and a girl who seemed to be around fourteen on her left who holding onto the old woman, while seemingly supporting her.

Peter who done typed on his cellphone then looked up, looking surprised," Granny Luccy, why you're here too? Who took care the kid at the orphanage?" Asked Peter.

"Hello Gavin, Peter. There's already Lillian and Tio to take care of the other little ones.*sighh* Those two poor child." Answer the Granny who look tired with mournful eyes, as she walking towards Gavin and Peter.

She also nod her head at the parent of Rick Benisson, the little girl beside Granny Luccy seems confused looking at them, while the other girl nodded and smile at Rick parents, even though her eyes were red and swollen like she had been crying, which they promptly reply with a nod and sad smile.

Peter passed Gavin the phone with the same expression, then coming to the Granny other side, trying to help her too.

While Gavin himself look at the phone that Peter had typed in,

There's other thing overlap with Mrs Vinniera face. I'm not sure why it look at us with so much enmity.
