Chapter Fifty-One

Cassandra finished dressing up and drove straight to the Floater's family house. She met Henry walking out of the house when she was walking in.

"Henry," she greeted him with a smile.

He flashed a faint smile at her and walked away from the place. She watched as he got into his car and drove off.

She sighed deeply and shook her head before walking forward. He wasn't any different from Natasha. He is such an ungrateful man.

Cassandra knew how many men would kill to have her daughter, yet Henry was getting angry that he was being given to her on her platter of gold.

Madame Gu was happy to see Cassandra. She took her into her secret chamber and asked the maid to serve them. They exchanged greetings and talked on a lighter note for a few minutes before Madame Gu decided to go straight to the point.

"I called you here because I need you to help me with a few things," Madame Gu said. "We would start with racking our brains on ways to move the relationship between our children forward.
