Chapter Ninety-Five

"It's so nice seeing you after a whole year."

It's been a year since Anna and Alicia saw Linda. They travelled out of the country and only came back a few weeks ago. They decided to visit Linda today. They missed her so badly, and they were happy to be with her again.

Mary walked out of the kitchen with a tray in her hand. There was a bottle of wine and four glasses on the tray. She placed it on the small table by the side of the couch and joined the girls.

"You look slightly different. Massive change within a year," Alicia complimented as she stared at Linda.

"Different in a bad way or in a good way?" Linda asked.

She didn't know why she felt uncomfortable with the visit. Especially their weird comments since they walked into her sitting room.

"In both ways. You lost some weight, which could be good or bad."

Linda sighed deeply without saying a word.

"We have been commenting with our ex-mates in school. We could not attend the get-together but we heard some things."
