"It seems like we are a little bit behind," Sylvia said.

They were in a meeting in Jason's house. As they sat around the dining table, with assorted dishes in front of them, they spoke more than they ate. They had been in that meeting for more than an hour, yet they had not been able to conclude on anything yet.

"Madame Gu has become a bit stiff recently. I can't even get any information from her anymore. She seems to have decided to keep private issues private."

Clinton, who was the closest to Madame Gu, kept nagging about the fact that she had stopped telling him so much. It was now difficult for him to keep a record of what was going on.

"Do you think there's something going on that she's not telling you. Maybe there's truly nothing important going on right now."

Everyone around the table turned to William. How could he suggest something like that?

"You must be delusional to think that there's nothing going on in madam Gu's life. They are only looking at us intentionally."
