Chapter One Hundred and Fifteen

Richard walked into his house and sank into the couch. He had been a shadow of his former self since after the incident. Losing Linda hurt Richard more than the fact that the world got to know the truth about his company.

He stared up at the ceiling as he thought about the possibility of Linda accepting him back.

Richard knew that it was not possible for Linda to accept him back. He knew that the only reason why the family let him in was because they thought he had something. Now that they were aware that he had nothing to offer to them, they all withdraw themselves from him.

He was also aware of the fact that Linda's mother would never want to hear from him or hear anything that had to do with him.

He could not forget how she sent him away immediately after she confirmed the news from him. Even though he tried to convince her that he would build his company, and once he was done, he would come back to his feet.
