A Night in The Wild

I kept running away and only realized that my body felt very weak when I was far enough away from the tribe. I stopped to take a breath and then looked back. I'm no longer exposed to flashing flames so my body feels weak due to the effects of bloody marks.

'It's very dark in here,' said Rex in my mind.

I can just imagine Rex hugging himself in terror if only he had a body this time. I tried to stay brave even though I knew Rex could sense my fear too. You are in a dark and empty area. The light of the huge moon was not enough to penetrate these dense trees.

We are quite safe from the pursuit of people in the tribe, they will not be able to chase us until we leave the tribe. However, out here we know that we will have new challenges. Without a flaming torch, I went deeper into the trees. The golden tree helps me to make the light come out of my hand so I can see in this darkness. So far, the forest appears empty.

I decided to sit under a tree that looked safe. I quickly took out a hunk
