I Might Regret Everything

I seemed to be struck by lightning when someone was behind me and called Rex's name. My brain froze even though I tried to think of reason after reason so I could answer his question. However, I was completely unable to do so.

I had to turn my head and how relieved I was to see that it was Noe behind me. Noe looked at me confused because maybe I looked pale as a ghost. I felt my hands go cold because Noe called out to me so suddenly that I was taken aback.

“Noee!” I cried in a whisper.

“Rex, everyone is looking for you,” said Noe.

“I know,” I replied.

"What are you doing here?" he asked again, looking to the right and left. He seemed to have guessed that I was hiding and did not want anyone to see.

"I have to go, Noe," I said. I don't know if my words are easy to understand or not but I have to go soon and I hope Noe doesn't ask any more questions.
