Don't Know What to Believe Anymore

I nodded and we continued our journey through the secret passage. We walked carefully, avoiding palace guards and any traps that might lie along the way.

After passing through several hidden passages and rooms, we finally reached the exit that led outside the palace. I felt relief and tension as we entered the dark tunnel that connected the palace to the outside world.

"Ares, you must go now. Take good care of yourself," my father said.

"Come with me, father! Stop working for them!" I shouted.

My dad shook his head and let go of my hand.

“Go away! Before they know!”

“Father, but…”

“Ares, forget about me. Go back to the tribe, and… don't go back to modern times,” my father said while looking at me closely. I knew something bad would happen and my dad was really into it.

"Go now!" he cried as he closed the hallway door quickly.
