Tables Turn

In the continuing silence, I fell silent on the river bank. Time seemed to stop, and I don't know how long I sat there, immersed in endless daydreams and thoughts.

Suddenly, I became aware of the changes in my surroundings. The sun had dimmed and set, leaving the sky dark. There was no trace of the moon or stars, only pitch blackness that approached every corner. The sky that was once full of sunlight had now become pitch black, and the forest that had been full of color was now drowning in mysterious shadows.

The silence replaced the bright glare of the sun. Time seemed as if it had stopped, and I was trapped in daydreams and swirling thoughts. The deep feeling of loss for Nola is still etched in my mind.
