The Capital Is Not What I Imagined

I turned my thoughts to my image of the capital. When I imagined it, the first thing that came to my mind was a magnificent and civilized ancient city, like what I often see in medieval movies. Soldiers in armor, people in proper attire, bustling bazaars, and houses made of piled stones. Then in the middle there is a magnificent palace where the king lives.

'Looks like we're close,' said Rex in my mind.

I looked out the window and found that Rex was right. I don't know how he knew, but I actually saw a city in the distance. The high walls were visible and they were all made of stones piled high, just like I imagined. I could almost imagine that a dragon would emerge from the city, just like the movies I'd seen in theaters. I smirked at that. Maybe if I come back to my world later, I'll never watch those kind of movies again.
