Cole finally finishes the sudden mission that came into his presence accidentally.

Cole knew that meeting Mason must be fate, because if he didn’t meet him at that time he knew that the story would begin to change.

And if the story changes in the earlier part of the series, it will create an enormous reaction in the future and by that time, he wouldn’t know about the story any longer.

That is his main goal in this world, to retain the story, to retain the items and the plot so that he will be able to predict the future of the story.
