Chapter 232- No evidence
Jeremy marched toward Edward's ward, his pace quickening with each step. His mind was clouded with rage, the gravity of the situation fueling his adrenaline.

As he entered the room, his eyes fell upon the lifeless limbs of the guard peeking out from under the bed.

A burning rage consumed Jeremy as he shifted his attention to Edward, who was convulsing in the throes of the poison coursing through his veins. His heart hammered in his chest as he comprehended the extent of the attack that had just taken place.

Jeremy's voice quavered with emotion as he rushed to Edward's bedside, his heart pleading with the dying man to hold on for just a little longer.

"Edward... Edward," he cried, his hand grasping Edward's shoulder in a desperate attempt to keep him grounded in the present. "Please don't die... please hold on."
