chapter 63-The final blow
As days swung by, the scene with Noah at the Williams mansion slowly faded into a mirage as they continued in their daily lives but Jeremy could feel Avery was still having some aftermath as she would often go numb for a while and sometimes felt scared for no reason.

This made Jeremy sometimes wish Avery had allowed him to shoot at Noah instead of letting him escape, but he had asked his men to search for Noah because he was determined to give him a taste of his wrath.

As Jeremy sat down on the couch with so many thoughts dancing through his mind, he didn't realize when Avery entered the room.

"Hey babe," Jeremy greeted but Avery didn't answer with her usual cheerful self, and this worried Jeremy.

"I'll just put Mia to sleep," Avery said standing up not wanting to disturb her husband with her newfound moody countenance since her ordeal with Noah.
