Chase and gunshots

Felix's heart pounded violently in his chest, his face drenched in cold sweat, fear etched into his wide eyes after the gunshot rang out, freezing him in place. Slowly, he turned his head to the side and spotted two fresh bullet holes in a nearby container.

The bullets Bolasco had fired missed him by mere inches, striking the container instead. Felix glanced over his shoulder and saw Bolasco hurriedly reloading his pistol while the rest of his crew charged towards him.

"Shit, shit, shit!" Felix muttered in panic as he spun around and broke into a run, his legs moving as fast as they could carry him.

His heartbeat thundered in his ears, the rapid footsteps behind him growing louder with every second. Felix kept glancing over his shoulder, desperate to ensure they were still a fair distance away, but each step forward felt like they were closing in on him. His legs burned, but he kept pushing.
