“Is that why he released you from Prison? Just to come to my office and tell me this useless piece of information? It seems that he is too big to come visit me himself especially when he has a property of mine,” Paul spoke, his jaws clenched in fury.

“He has a property of yours but you owe him a lot of money, remember?” Jude chuckled, bitter and dry humor twisting in his face. “And why do you even have a problem bowing to the Monarch?”

“I mean, he is a whole Monarch. After all, I hear you were so mean enough to make Mr. Timber bow to you publicly. Perhaps, you should see what it feels like.”

Jude’s words were dripping with cold sarcasm as he wore a calculating expression.
