“How could she do that? She just called Bella a bitch!” Someone said in the audience and all eyes turned on Elena, she froze as everyone looked at her as though they could descend on her in a second. They were all angry at her for making Bella have that cold look, “Bella ain't the bitch! The whore who said that is the bitch instead.” Another fan of Bella said. “She should leave this place immediately, that's the most stupid shit I've ever heard.”

Jose felt completely embarrassed being seen with Elena who stooped so low to make such comments and he tried to calm the situation quickly “Hey… No guys that's not what she meant.”

“What the hell does she mean then?” Someone asked angrier.

“She was saying something else and the bitch word just came out really. It's some kinda coincidence.”

“Bullshit!” Someone condamned everything he'd just said.

Elena didn't care about the fact that his new lover Jose was trying to calm the situation, she could notice that Bella was not interested in responding to her poorly made negative comment, so she decided to add up the fire saying “That shameless bitch over there has been all over my ex husband, she's been with Tyler since he divorced me, probably trying to give her slutty body to him.”

“What the…” Jose immediately put a hand under the table to pull Elena’s dress and whisper in her ear “What in God's name are you doing? You tryna embarrass me and ruin my chances of getting anything good outta this?”

“Can't you see she just keeps being all over Tyler?” She asked.

“You handed him the divorce papers, it was you who asked for the divorce. So stop monitoring who is around him, it's none of your goddamn business.”

Elena sighed deeply and slowly pushed his hand off the thigh-area of her dress, “Ok.” she finally gave up.

A gathering that was supposed to be quiet and official now emerged with discussions about Elena’s behavior “stupid ass woman, who even invited her here? How dare she call Bella such names?”

“She's just some stupid loser, I heard she's the one who wanted the divorce after all. But now she's here talking shit to any girl she sees around him.”

“Please can we all be quiet so we can listen.” The host said and everyone stopped.

Bella took a confident walk around the stage as she continued “I want to thank y'all for coming, we all know why we're here, and I want y'all to know that the family's gonna announce the list of candidates for the new project.”

“Yes!” Jose was obviously excited, he believed his name would definitely be mentioned and the joy almost made him forget all the unpleasant things that just happened a few minutes ago.

“But before we announce this list, I want to first of all introduce to you, the person who's in charge of this entire project.” Bella said smiling.

Everyone wondered who that could be. Jose smiled even brighter trying to make Tyler jealous, he could already imagine how he'd walk and act if his name was mentioned as a candidate. “I'd walk straight at him and tell him I'm always a winner and I can't help it ha ha.” He said to Elena and they laughed.

“Who do you think is in charge?” Someone asked in the crowd.

“I can't tell, maybe it's Jose Monroe.” An answer came.

“Jose? That arrogant boar. I don't like him.”

All eyes followed the beam of light that was lit.

“Y'all see that beem of light? Whoever that light stops upon is the person in charge.” Bella’s smile was still intact as she spoke.

The beam of light moved steadily and finally stopped at a particular table and a man slowly rose up from his seat. Jose couldn't believe it “Is this some kind of dream? This can't be true!”
