"I thought it would be nice to welcome a clown to the party, right?" Lucy giggled while everyone burst into laughter.

"That's too cruel Lucy. But seriously, I'm glad that he left though, and you guys should also be glad. If he stayed here any longer, the place would smell like garlic and vinegar!"

Upon hearing that, everyone bursts into another laughing spree while holding their stomachs, as they couldn't take any more “Fatty Sett jokes”.

However, on the other side of the door. Sett was still standing there, listening to their whole conversation.

"I thought you weren’t like the rest of them, Lucy." Sett let out a heavy sigh of disappointment. “I guess I was wrong.” he added as he started to walk towards the exit.

Lucy was a female friend of his in senior high. She had always defended him against Antonio and the others who were bullying him. But little did Sett know, that unfortunately, people change. He couldn't even recognize her gentle characteristics anymore after what happened.

It was best to go home, rather than staying here and let them shower him with insults. He reached the establishment’s exit with a heavy heart.

"Leaving early are we? Let me guess, your group must have kicked you out, didn’t they? Heh, you didn't even realize that you were already being set up by that guy earlier. Stupid fat kid." The bouncer mockingly said, with obvious contempt in his eyes. He could immediately tell that the kid was brought here to be the laughing stock of the group. He had seen similar occasions. Anyway, a broke customer wouldn't really add any revenue to the bar, and he wouldn't care less if this fat kid died in some dark alley near the establishment.

Sett hung his head down. He was so disappointed that he didn't even realize that he had ignored the ringing coming from his phone.

Suddenly, Vroom!

All the hookers and bystanders outside were taken aback when they saw a luxurious black Rolls-Royce approaching the establishment.

It wasn't a common sight to see. After all, those cars were worth at least a million dollars!

But the real question is, who was the important person that the cars were escorting? The bouncers looked at each other, as one of them reported it to the bar's manager via walkie-talkie.

At this time, the cars came to a grinding halt. As the car doors were flung open, fifty foreigners in black suits and sunglasses got out of the car bringing an intimidating aura with them.

They secured the parameters like highly trained soldiers while scanning the group of people from the ever-busy red light streets.

Their appearance was particularly eye-catching to the point that even the ones partying inside came outside the moment they noticed the commotion.

The bouncers brought their manager to greet the men in black suits, with big smiles plastered on their faces. They wanted to know who the big shot was. That the men in black suits were going to meet.

"Get it out of the way, tubby." The manager scolded and shoved Sett away, who was blankly staring ahead like an idiot.

"Hello gentlemen, I am the manager of this bar, allow me to welco--" The manager felt exhilarated while giving his hand out for a handshake as he stood in front of one of the men in black suits.

However, his smile stiffened instead, and his hand was left hanging, as the men in black ignored him completely.

The men in black suits came forward and lined up in front of Sett, who was prowling on the ground. The men in black suits bent their bodies a hundred and ninety degrees.

"Mr. Crow." Their deep and powerful voices synchronized as they spoke in unison. It was quite impressive as their voices echoed in the air.

"Mr. Crow, please come inside. The president is waiting for you." A man who seemed to be the leader of the group stepped forward and respectfully announced.

Just then, Sett was assisted back on his feet, and was led inside the vehicle before he could react.

On the other hand, the speculating crowd was baffled and also amazed. Sett's classmate who also came on the scene just in time to see Sett being greeted in a grand manner was flabbergasted.

"That young man is most likely an heir. He had so many bodyguards, and they were not ordinary guards. And look at those luxurious cars, how envious." A man of respectable stature asserted himself amid the crowds of gossipers.

"W-Was that Fatty? No, I mean, was that Sett?!" Antonio gulped as he saw the Rolls Royce drive away.

"T-That's.... Impossible." The tan girl gritted her teeth. She was going to investigate it later because otherwise, she wouldn't be able to sleep tonight. How could that poor pig suddenly become richer than she was? She couldn't accept that reality!

"Hmph! I think those foreigners are here to abduct him and take out his organs to sell them abroad!" Lucy said, coldly.

Although what Lucy said was cruel, some of her classmates believed it. "I think we shouldn't make fun of Sett anymore..." Anna nervously uttered.

Although the others couldn't believe what they witnessed, Lucy however, was different from the rest of them, as she understood that Sett had a connection with those men in black suits, and that connection wasn't an ordinary one, as she saw how respectful those men in black were when greeting Sett, to the point where they were bowing to him like servants.

Meanwhile, Sett, who became the center of attention at the bar, was fidgeting inside the luxurious car.

"...."

It would be a lie if he said he wasn't afraid of being abducted by this group of men, but this wasn't entirely the reason he was uncomfortable. It was because of a drop-dead gorgeous lady who was sitting right in front of him.

As he took a peek at her. He could see a deadly combination of her innocent facial features paired with a devilish body. If one were to compare her ravishing silhouette, she would surely put to shame any class A model in terms of beauty and figure. It was worth taking note that this enchantress was wearing a relatively short skirt. Forcing any kind of man inside their imagination.

At this moment, she notices Sett's subtle glances, causing her to giggle sweetly while giving Sett a ripe smile as she squeezes her thighs slightly while moving.

Gulp!

Sett swallowed his saliva. It was getting hard to suppress his excitement after the ravishing lady exposed a large portion of her long pearly legs.

Sett couldn't help but to avert his gaze to prevent any kind of misunderstanding to arise.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Mr. Crow. My name is Jane Scarlett but you can call me Scarlett." Scarlett said, while fixing her short blond hair.

I don't know anything about the Crow family, so can you please let me go?" Sett blurted out nervously. As much as he wished to spend more time with Ms. Scarlett, he had to leave, in fear of what this group of strangers would do to him?"Don't be nervous, Mr. Crow. Rest assured, we aren't a hostile group. I was sent by the Crow family to be your aid.""Then there must be some kind of misunderstanding. Why do you keep insisting that I'm Mr. Crow? " Sett smiled warily. "Because you are." Scarlett confidently said. The look on her face implied that she was absolutely certain of it. Sett's mouth twitched. Was this lady toying with him? They should have investigated him first before jumping to conclusions that he is the so-called "Mr. Crow" or something. He took a deep breath as it was already past

At this time, Ms. Scarlett handed the camera directly to Sett's palm. As he turned on the video recording, his mind was filled with confusion as he saw a white-bearded man gradually stripping his tuxedo with his bare hands, revealing his extremely macular back which was identical to an ancient Greek titan named Atlas! Sett raised his brows. Why the h*ck is this guy stripping? "He is your grandfather, Mark Crow." Ms. Scarlett stated calmly. "Wait, that's him?! I thought he was old?” Sett surprisingly said. Ms. Scarlett slightly raised the edge of her lips. "Indeed, the president is old. I think he was eighty years old when this video was taken." "What?!" Sett was awestruck. Is that even the physique of a fre*cking eighty-year-old man? Wouldn't that put other bodybuilders to shame? His grandpa could even win the Mr. Olympia award! But what concerns him the most, was they do have undeniably similar faces. Just then, Sett noticed a birthmark on the back of his grandfather, which was

"What?!" Sett's face was imprinted with horror as he heard his sister's frantic screams along with the sound of something breaking and men shouting in the background. Damn it! Sett cursed as he clenched his jaw in anger. They better pray that his sister and the others are alright! He already knew who the masterminds behind this. It’s none other than his aunt and uncle. He always hated them to the core, as they were quite sadistic. The Crossword main household had already confiscated all of his parents' properties, and the only thing they had left was an old, dilapidated mansion. Nonetheless, they keep forcing them to sell the old mansion! They were just too much. Sett let out a breath along with a worried expression on his face. "Ms. Scarlett, ask your men to hurry up! I'm worried that something bad may happen to my sister. I won't be able to forgive myself." Ms. Scarlett nodded to assure Sett as she commanded the driver to pick up speed. "It looks like you're not getting the message, are you? And to top it off, you’re actually using a second-rate family name to threaten me. I gotta say, you guys are either loyal to that second-rate family you speak of, or you’re extremely stupid.” Ms. Scarlet let out a small sigh. “Let me make something clear; if I wanted to, I could order my men to wipe out the entire Crossword family. Heck, I could even make it like that family never even existed in the first place. But, lucky for you, I don't want to. You see, in the future, using that family as a stepping stone for Mr. Crow is a much needed variable in helping Mr. Crow." Cro

In Sett's excitement, he started examining the other notebooks and cards inside the suitcase. To his surprise, he found a driver's license! And all of the information and appearances came from him. "Seriously, how is this possible?" Sett murmured, literally dumbfounded by this discovery. He didn't stop there, as he started examining the other cards, and that's when he became speechless. 'How should I say this? This is too much.' Sett reflected as he examined the important cards in his hand, which included a military card with the large word "Arm-force of the United States" and others from various countries. If he could spell it in one phrase, then that would be "amazing!"Sett decided to ask Grandpa Mark about how he made these essential cards. But why is there no debit card or credit card? At least Grandpa Mark shouldn't forget about the money. Although these cards are important. 'On second thought, Grandpa Mark never lacked money. Maybe he thought these blue diamonds would suffic

Because of the employee's negligence, of course, she would be wrathful towards her employee, and judging from the actions of the gentleman when handing the blue diamonds, he may have come from an extraordinary background. Ms. Jasmine hastily turned around to face Sett, who was calmly watching everything as though it had nothing to do with him.On the other hand, the snobbish employee's face turns pale. She knew how ruthless Ms. Jasmine could be towards her employees when they made mistakes. She felt like crying. Now, she could only kiss her job goodbye. It is impossible not to feel regretful. Why did she look down on this fatty? She glared daggers at Sett, cursing him in her mind."Sir, my name is Jasmine Pearce, and I am a branch manager of the Treasure Palace conglomerate. That boy is honestly humble. He didn't even throw his weight around when he got that much money on him, unlike some people here who only know how to appear rich when in truth they aren't so capable. Isn't that right, Mike?" The middle-aged man's friend replied with a smile while poking fun at the couple who insulted Sett not too long ago. The couple had an ugly look on their faces. Although they wanted to remain, their hearts were being scratched by a cat in curiosity. If those blue di

Her eagerness was as if she was a child, trying to share something she just knew to her parents.“So how much do you currently know about it?” Jessica meticulously asked before sharing everything she knew to Sett.Sett was a little bit surprised and curious about how much she actually knew about. Intrigued with whatever information that she could give, he decided to lay down a brief and still non-detailed outline of everything he knew, still leaving some parts hidden for Azula’s sake.As Sett finished the information dropping, Jessica gave her a skeptical look. She had a hunch that there was some information that Sett withheld from her, which was understandable. She didn’t want to pry on whatever it was he and his aunt talked about upstairs. She knew that

“Oh, my apologies Sett! I must have been hit by the memories of old a little too strongly.” Azula said as she wiped the tears off her face. However, Sett wasn’t convinced by such reasons. Sure, you could cry when you’re hit with nostalgia, but that is out of a joyful, euphoric feeling that overwhelms you to the brink of crying. But in Azula’s case, Sett noticed that her tears weren’t a product of such positive feelings. In fact it was the total opposite. Sett sensed that, the moment he saw her eyes devoid of life. An imperfect match for her ocean blue eyes, that seemed so full of life. He thought that whatever was bothering her, seemed like a burden that was still weighing down his Aunt, even until now.“Are you sure you’re alright Aunty?” Sett asks, deeply in concern for what Azula is feeling.Azula just looked at Sett with heavy laden eyes. She took out a very old, hard-bound book from the top shelf. The dust that it accumulated is the indication of how long that book was left untouched.“This book holds everything that you want to know if you wish to learn more about our family’s history.” Azula stated as she gently blew on the book, revealing its true worn-out, rustic black cover.Upon further inspection, there was an embedded mark on one side of the book covers. She must come up with something to insure Ann’s safety, especially when the one she’s with is her psychoneurotic nephew. Now the question is “how?”. While Roman was still on the floor, wiping the blood off his nose. He scoffs, then proceeds to laugh in amusement, acknowledging the fact that Sett caught him off guard. Roman somehow considered it as an entertaining happenstance, that Sett found a small window of opportunity, and took it to give him a cheap shot like that.“That was very clever. Still a cheap shot, but it was clever.” Roman said as he stood up from the floor and fixed his now wrinkled button down shirt. “However, I’m not in the mood to fight you anymore. So stop cock-blocking me, and get the hell away from Azula.” He added with an irritated voice.“Make me.” Sett provokingly responded.Roman’s blood started to boil after hearing Sett’s remarks. At that moment, he thought that it would be an easy win to get past Sett since he didn’t possess that much threat. But what concerned him was how Azula would react right after. Roman glanced at Azula and saw how composed she still is. Even after what happened, she still seemed
