When Leonard answered the phone, his heart raced because he assumed it was simply another standard check-in from the school.

"Leonard , you must come to the school right now. Gigi , your son, carried a gun to school." As Leonard stopped on the side of the road and stared at the wet pavement from the rain, his thoughts went blank.
