Chapter 155

Before he can press a call button for the elevator the door slides open revealing a whole he can only assume was a lady aggravated from her endeavours. Aunt Miriam stormed out.

Joshua gave a sharp nod then held it for her and stepped in.

"You good for nothing!" Aunt Miriam's hand sweeps Derek's face. "Are you that weak? You could have taken your chances and killed him!" She said in a mean voice as she dropped her bag on the glassware.

"Mother! That isn't right, Joshua is not some animal to be dragged." Derek replied using the same mean tune as his mother.

"Then are you? I thought from the onset, I will set a very good foundation for my boy. Derek will be great. Where has that part of you gone? Tell me now."

Derek gazes at her mother, he takes in a long deep breath and then shakes his head. "What are you talking about?" Derek asked. Aunt Miriam's leg stomped the feet, her hand snapping. She moves randomly; it was like her body was caught on fire.
