Chapter eighty-nine

Joshua saw the expression on Mr Joe and kept on talking. Words that weighed down on Mr Joe, he felt guilty. Joshua made him feel so by speaking indirectly.

It took hours to judge. Without adjourning Mr Fletcher was found guilty. The neutral expression on Mr Joe's face faded into annoyance. He didn't expect Joshua to win.

After conclusion Joshua stood up and walked outside, brushing his hand through his dark brown hair.

"Mr Bentley, you did perfectly in there," Joshua says.

"What else would it take either way the man had to admit his crime? Instead, he is reluctant. But now that we've finished with him he has learnt his lesson the hard way."

"Of course that suits him. What of him, Mr Joe he betrayed you big time."

Joshua turned and observed the down spirited Mr Joe, he looked tired and somehow his guts told him that his death had been found out red-handed.

"I can't sack him, but I hope he learns from his mistakes." Mr Bentley quite couldn't grasp why the man had to go against Joshua.
